Upon entering the room, I smelled cigarettes right away. I went down stairs to tell the front desk employee. She was very understanding, but the hotel was fully booked. She offered for maintenance to come and spray the room but I expressed that we were getting ready for a wedding. The carpet felt sticky as well.

A parking fee was charged to my account. The fact that parking required a fee was not disclosed at the time of booking. The property blamed the non disclosure issue on hotels.com, and when I contacted hotels.com the agent stated that they will report the issue but no remedy was offered.

The hotel is well equipped and priced fairly and has all the basics we expect and appreciate; clean, everything worked the way it was supposed to, the room was stocked with enough towels etc. My favorite attribute and what made this hotel a standout for me is how dark the room is at night! It seems like all hotels lately have built-in nightlights that glow, smoke alarms with flashing lights and other unexpected lights and noises in the night. Our room was perfectly dark and quiet; we couldn't hear the elevator, couldn't hear the neighbors, couldn't see any lights. It was a cozy cocoon and I slept so good which was appreciated!

Overall, very clean, quiet, and relatively affordable hotel (if you can catch the price when it comes down). I liked that they included mini-fridge and microwave in each room. Would like if they shampooed or steam cleaned the carpets more frequently, but other than that, it was a very clean establishment. Complimentary bottled water would also have been nice. Overall, it was a very good experience. I think this would be a good choice for families.

Upon arrival first room assignment keys did t work had to treck back thru the entire property as room was furthest from lobby. Second elevator was not working causing more walking to get to an exit. Minor water failure mid stay causing contaminated water coming out of faucets.
