Our house, Casa Alcactus, 100% refurbished in Ibiza style, is on one level and ideally located at the bottom of Calahonda (Mijas Costa), in a quiet cul-de-sac 5 minutes walk from the beaches, supermarket, shops. When you enter the 1100m2 property you are immediately struck by the holiday atmosphere and the change of scenery due to the architecture, the patio, the colors and the vegetation. In the house (approximately 200m2) the light, the contemporary and also Moroccan decoration, the wooden furniture, the covered terrace with its large sofas, and the large swimming pool (11x5m) also provide a feeling of rest, calm and peace. . Privacy is total throughout the property.
The ubiquitous nature is characterized by an environment of eucalyptus, umbrella pines, palm trees, oleander, bougainvillea, hibiscus, and of course many cacti.
Security system with indoor and outdoor alarm connected to central limiting the risk of intrusion. The comfort is absolute, the house being inhabited most of the year by its owners, who attach real importance to the care and maintenance of their house and their garden.
Many golf courses nearby (Cabopino, La Cala golf resort, Santana, Chaparral, Santa Maria Elviria etc...).
Marbella and Malaga are respectively 10 and 30 minutes away by car.

Perfect Location with Great Style and Vibe!
Casa Al Cactus was the PERFECT spot for us! The home is well equipped, stylishly appointed, and offers outstanding indoor and outdoor spaces for relaxing to enjoy all the Costa Del Sol area has to offer! The hosts were great and responsive and we found the location convenient with easy beach access and highway access for great day trips to Granada, Cordoba, Torremolinos, Marbella and the Caminitos del Rey! Will definitely consider returning to this property again soon!

This home is a beautiful "home away from home"! It is very nicely appointed with all of the necessary amenities. The gardens and exterior property are very lovely. The patio area next to the house is very comfortable and functional. The loungers by the pool were used extensively. The pool was not used as it was not heated; however it did add to the ambience of the surrounding area. The BBQ area was very pleasant and used extensively. The home is located in a very peaceful area. All told, a wonderful home both inside and out in a great location to take in the sights.

A wonderful holiday home
This is a beautiful holiday home with lots of space inside and out. It’s beautifully decorated with lots of lovely touches to make it feel really special. And the pool is a great size and really refreshing to go into. There’s always shade somewhere in the garden if you want it. My only observation is that the third bedroom is very small and is a sofa bed, which might not be comfortable for two people. Calahonda is great, but you probably need a car and we never quite worked out how to walk to the beach - not that we needed to! Other than that this place is fantastic!

Fantastic stay
Villa was absolutely perfect, both in terms of space, layout, equipment and style. The large south facing pool and immaculate garden were the perfect spots to enjoy the summer sunshine. There were enough good restaurants within a 5 minute drive and Uber and taxis were readily available. We had great communication with Bertrand and would not hesitate to recommend a stay at this exceptional villa. We certainly hope to return next year

Lovely place to stay !
We stayed for a week as a family of 9 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa is a lovely place to stay in a quiet picturesque neighbourhood but close to Marbella and beaches. The villa is spacious and well equipped with sea views from the terraces and a good sized shared pool (which we had pretty much to ourselves during our stay). Bertrand the owner and his wife met us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. We hope to stay here again on our next visit to Marbella.

Perfekte Urlaubswoche
Wir haben zu sechst (Freunde und Partner) die Villa gebucht und sind einfach begeistert! Gut mit dem Navi zu finden, wundervolle Gastgeber und das Haus ist einfach ein Traum, noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Den geteilten Pool hatten wir sogar die ganze Woche für uns und konnten so richtig gut entspannen und uns wie zuhause fühlen. Virginie hat das Haus so liebevoll und wunderschön geschmackvoll eingerichtet, dass wir gar nicht mehr abreisen wollten. Supermarkt und Strand war in Laufweite (15 Minuten), ansonsten haben wir mit dem Mietauto Trips unternommen. Wir können die Villa nur rundum empfehlen, vor allem auch die wunderbaren Gastgeber Virginie und Bertrand, die uns auch während der Woche mit Tipps zur Region zur Seite standen und immer gut erreichbar waren.
