This is a great Miami SoBe hotel. They send detailed information on check in and check out, and you can call text or WhatsApp if you have questions. It’s not a luxury hotel but it’s super clean and safe convenient location, you don’t need a car if you want to enjoy the beach and the dining options nearby. House keeping is mid stay for longer stays, but you really don’t need daily. If you need anything (towels, tissues, or even k cup coffee pods) team is very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended, it was just what i needed and the price is great!

Great location for getting to beach, shops, food. The room and bathroom were small but functional. There is a fridge but no microwave in room. Housekeeping was really nice and accommodating once we used a phone translation for Spanish to English. The hotel also accommodated a free early check in and a paid late check out which was really great with our flight time!

Convenient location. Virtual lobby made check-in, check-out, and entry easy. Staff was super responsive to texts. Issues - unit was a bit worse for the wear, although unit seemed otherwise clean 2 strands of hair on the bed cover grossed me out, the shower controls weren’t working properly, and pretty noisy until wee hours.

No hot water to shower.

The room was nice, the bedding was very comfortable, and the location was great. The problem we had was that there was no hot water for me to take a shower at night, and they couldn't do anything about it until the next morning.

I recently stayed at Kara LA Flora (Jan 9th-13th) and was overall disappointed. The bathroom was outdated, with a large rusty chip in the tub, several nicks, a leaking shower head, and no drain cover. The bathroom door was difficult to open and close, and at one point, the handle came off, trapping us inside. There was no microwave initially, though housekeeping delivered one after we requested it via the app. The coffee maker was a single-cup Keurig style, and the table in the room was unstable and wobbled constantly. Despite advertising guest services, there were none in person—only housekeeping. While the app messenger was responsive, it would have been more helpful to have an in-person check-in process. Amenities were essentially non-existent. There was no patio furniture for outdoor seating and no bathrooms in the lobby area. We were provided with limited towels and toiletries, and no room cleaning service was offered during our stay. The location, however, was excellent—close to the beach and within walking distance of great attractions. Unfortunately, despite the great location, the overall quality of the stay didn’t match the price. With improvements in service and amenities, this place could be worth a second visit, but for now, it fell short of expectations.
