Pre cruise stay

We needed a pre cruise night in Miami and Casa Ocean seemed a reasonable option. Good south beach location and clean room with everything we needed for a one night stay. Only downside was a damp smell and I noticed there was an attempt at air freshener in the lobby but it was still strong.

We loved how easy it was to enter and exit the property using a unique code. The decor was very cutesy. We also loved that it was walking distance to the beach as well as restaurants and retail stores. We will definitely be staying again!

Great property, my first time using a keyless property. They made it easy with great informative texts on how to use the codes at the doors. Walls were a bit thin; I could hear the next door guests. Rooms were very quiet otherwise

It was great for getting up in the morning and heading straight to the beach or nearby Starbucks. Citi Bike stand very near us. Great restaurants along Ocean Dr. We were there on NYE which was amazing and fun! Really, mostly good but here are the demerits. Not a single drawer in the room, no elevator, no parking, only half a pane of glass in the shower so there was no way to avoid a wet floor and bath mat.

Property smelled extremely musty. Everything felt slightly damp. Walls were thin/uninsulated so you could hear nighttime activities from the room next door during the night. Location was good and staff were friendly but this couldn’t make up for odor, dampness, and noise.

The rooms are beautiful and the beds are awesome - I had amazing sleep all three nights I was there! Also situated in the best neighborhood in Miami Beach, in my opinion. Only negative is that the walls are incredibly thin, you can hear every word from your neighbors.

Pros: Lobby and hallways smelled amazing, Staff allowed us to check-in 3 hours early because our room was ready (very convenient), property seemed newly renovated Cons: The staff said there was a shortage on washcloths and only gave us one (they never followed up as promised at night or in the morning), The shower was NOT cleaned properly and there was a lot of hair from a previous guest in it.

Easy and quiet

Stayed 2 nights after a cruise. Nice hotel with a very friendly staff. It was in Ocean but just a tad further down than we realized. Very walkable. The bed comfort in our room was so so. My side had a weird slope to the floor so I could not sleep anywhere near the edge. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
