The first room I had had mildew in shower and rusted . I was moved to a better room which I appreciate. All the carpets are filthy . Stains and cracks . O my the front desk look decent rooms need maintenance.

My experience at Hotel Catedral was great! The location is unbeatable, close to all the main attractions, making it easy to explore the city without any hassle. The food at the restaurant was delicious, with a great variety of well-prepared and beautifully presented dishes. I highly recommend including breakfast with your stay. The customer service was exceptional from the moment I arrived. The front desk staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any questions or needs. The restaurant team and housekeeping staff were also very professional and thorough, ensuring my stay was comfortable and enjoyable at all times. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning on my next visit. Thank you to the Hotel Catedral team for an unforgettable experience! 10/10

The property is in the Zocalo area with easy walking to the center and restaurants around the Zocalo. The staff is amazing and will go out of their way to help with all your needs. Our room was ready at 11 am when we got there. Very clean and comfortable. There is always coffee and cookies in the lobby area. A nice touch. The only down side is the location for Uber and taxis is very tough to navigate once you are picked up. Count on it taking you 45 minute to go 5 miles in any direction. I think that is generally Mexico City and not the fault of the hotel. Once at the hotel, all is good.

Loved it. Everything is walkable distance. Location was perfect for us by the Zocalo. Was able to catch the hop on hop off buses in front of the Zocalo.

I really like the free water in the lobby. The hotel staff are friendly. Our room, 104, had a window that was located next to a squeaky flag pole. (Our window was between the U.S. and Mexican flag.) The flag pole was squeaking the entire stay especially when there was wind, and it was disturbing our sleep at night. Lastly, the smell of paint from an adjacent room that was being renovated during our stay was so strong I needed to leave our room to breathe fresh air. Overall an OK experience except for these two notes.
