- no actual guest room. There are two attics with ground mattress in each, of 1.15 m high, so you need to creep to reach where you will sleep, and watch your head - windows are openings overlooking the internal narrow shafts. No natural light - no hangers or closet for your cloths. You need to Keep them in your bag - no chair or desk - first 3 days, there was no wifi in the room. - No Air-conditioning in the room - no exhaust fan for the shower. When the room is full of vapor, open the shower window, but you'd be seen from the hotel corridor - they don't bring you a new vanuty soap if you don't ask - no shower gel provided - water kept running from vanity tab after turning off. Nothing happened after i have informed the front desk - no floor mat for shower, and no slippers - wash basin tabs are very hard to turn on and off - the staff at the evening shift had no clue what hospitality attitude looks like. - I once went down to the front desk, rang the bell several times, no one was there, then I discovered that the staff was spending sometime on the street. - for breakfast, you choose between fruits and fried egg. Both options are pre-prepared on plates and brought uncovered on a large tray, passing through corridors, elevator and the garage-street level

The floors were dirty. The faucet knobs we’re hard to turn and one would squirt water at you. No A/C but I was provided with a noisy and dusty standing fan. Continental breakfast consisted of refried beans and choice of scrambled eggs or fruit plus a coffee or juice. Breakfast was good though. Didn’t really deal with staff except during check in/check out but everyone we did interact with was friendly and polite. I would probably not stay here again though.

Most of the staff are very friendly and brilliant. One dude should consider other professions because he is a sad human and it radiates outward. As for the hotel room. It was freezing because there is no real insulation and it is drafty. The window lock was broken and difficult to finally close. The location is walking distance to Centro Historico but the neighborhood is very sketchy. When even your cab driver asks you "really Miss, here" you begin to wonder. Room service and cleaning were great. The "continental" breakfast was some reall cold hard scrambled eggs, one chip, and beans or fruit. They should just invest in a better system and other options. The breakfast team is much too sweet for this disappointment from people. Finally, while stylish, the water only runs cold and the knobs don't work properly. When it did run hot, I'm convinced that I may have cooked the outer layer of my skin. Also as a note, because of the lack of insulation, you will hear everything and everyone in the hallway in the middle of the night.

Actually my problem with Expedia, because it’s shown property has pool but it doesn’t have, also I booked the standard room the hotel shows me the boxes rooms shared with another person, that way i paid a lot to change it in the hotel!

It's a beautiful hotel. It's close to centro historico making shopping and dining options accessible. It's very close to the metro if you like that. If you want to sleep really cold, then this hotel won't work because they don't have airconditioning. Also, one late afternoon, I was calling room service but no one answered my call. I called 3x but no answer.

The hotel was a unique experience for my wife and I. No sitting area in the room but communal sitting areas shared between a couple rooms. The beds in our room were inside a cubby that can be completely closed from the rest of the room. A higher cubby requires climbing a ladder, similar to a bunk bed. Each cubby seems best for a single person. We shared 1 a couple nights bet way more comfortable when we slept apart the next 2 nights. The mattress is not especially thick so not the most comfortable. Other rooms may be very different so check the details before booking. I'd stay in this hotel again as it is a great location and seems to be good value. Other item to note is we had 2 windows that open into the hotel. Leaving the windows open for air certainly makes nights a bit louder when people return for the night. Guessing more expensive rooms have windows to the outside but not sure.

Buen hotel, una parte del staff puede mejorar. Hace falta aire acondicionado y cambiar las llaves de la regadera porque era imposible bañarse con agua con temperatura estable. La llave del lavamanos también podría mejorar para que sea más fácil usarse. Desayuno muy simple.
