Little Blue Cabin
I was excited about the Little Blue Cabin. It was just the perfect size for my husband and I for the long weekend in Mentone that I had planned for us. It was conveniently located. I loved the gas fireplaces. Very easy to operate. The queen mattress downstairs was very comfortable. The couch was a bit worn and not very comfortable. The inside of the cabin was clean and decorated nicely. I love the farmhouse decor. The kitchen was cute and had everything we needed. I loved the screened in porch with the fireplace, bed swing and tv. The screened in porch needed a good cleaning. The floor had a thick layer of dirt and dust and there were leaves on the floor when we arrived. There were large cob webs in the corners and on the framing and screens behind the couch and swing. The front porch had an old mop standing in the corner that appeared to have been left there quite some time.. The porch floor was also dirty and had large thick cob webs on the lights and fixtures. Just a little extra TLC and attention to detail on the outside would have made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable.

Overall, enjoyed the cabin. Very cozy. Enjoyed the screened in porch and fire pit. Only downside was the cleanliness, lots of cobwebs and towels and rugs were left in the washer when we got there.

Happy place !

Girls Weekend
My friend and I stayed with my 1year old to have a girls weekend. We spent most of our time on the back porch lying on the daybed swing. The linens were clean and the property overall was very welcoming. We had a great time and didn’t want to leave.

Celebrated a big birthday and it was a fabulous place to relax. Very convenient to DeSoto Falls and Little River Canyon the hiking was great!! The porch swing and hot tub really made the trip special!

Upon arrival had to empty the dishwasher then after seeing both cookie cookie sheets with food and grease on them put away as clean, we had to run a load of dishes to ensure what we used were clean. Also had to wash the comforter in the master bedroom due to an odor (body) which was clearly not the same as the recently washed sheets and was obviously not clean. Sofa had several fluid stains.. had to use a sheet to cover it while we were there. Everything else checked out and was as expected. Less than acceptable housekeeping and would not return/nor recommended based on this alone.

What a great cabin and setting!
We'll definitely be back. The cabin was perfect! Very clean, great places to just relax and enjoy the wildlife. We saw lots of deer while we chilled at the fire-pit.
