The property was a great location for the part of town that we wanted! We were there for 9 days & the apartment was lovely with a view across the Flagstaff Gardens. As it was supposed to be fully self contained we requested cooking utensils & a sharp knife which were promptly supplied. A couple of minor irritations:- the WiFi was temperamental….. the lifts were not always the most reliable. It would have been great to have another easy chair or a small sofa to make the room more comfortable

We loved the Jazz Corner, except for the elevator, which was not working properly. Good free continental breakfast, close to the famous market, and washer and dryer in the room. Staff were so accommodating and friendly and, unexpectedly were on duty 24 hours. Also, we did not get the 2 double beds we had requested.

Oct. 2024. We stayed 4 nights. The property feels like a condo project that didn't work out. The rooms all have washer/dryers and kitchens with gas oven/cooktop. Seem to have been built to sell not rent. Room was reasonably sized, like a studio apt. would be. We were on the 32nd floor, with a nice balcony view over Melbourne. Although the rooms have kitchens, there are NO pots/pans/cooking utensils. Very basic eating utensils plus plates and cups etc. Weird.Not sure how you use the stove without pots. We called down and asked for a small pot and a salad bowl. We received the bowl. Good location..a few minute walk to Queen Vic market. 15-20 min. walk to the water. It is just inside the free tram zone so you can ride the trams for free towards the tourist area (and back).

Stayed in this hotel for the night, it was a funky little spot, the view from the king balcony room was absolutely incredible and the highlight! The jazziness of the hotel was a bit of fun with pictures and instruments, the only part that I would like to suggest could use some attention is the signage, it was difficult to navigate with the parking, I didn’t know what level I was on when driving up to find the parking area for the hotel and also finding which way to go when walking back to the carpark, there was no signs on which way to go to get back from inside the hotel, otherwise everything was wonderful and clean, the bed was very comfortable and loved that the tv had recordings of shows from the bar downstairs available to watch. Well thought out and comfortable stay.

Jazz Corner Hotel is next to Flagstaff train station & the tram stops where we could travel to the city & countryside with ease. The deco & facilities are great. Excellent reception. The view from the balcony is amazing. Absolutely good value for money. Highly recommended!
