The initial problem was that we were allocated a Studio apartment after booking a one-bedroom superior apartment. This was sorted after the first night and we were very happy to move into a nice one-bedroom apartment. A late-night, loud girls' get-together in a nearby apartment was disappointing but obviously difficult for management to control. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Crawling insects in bedroom and bed. Spent night trying to sleep on couch, unsuccessfully. Was told by management that it was due to trees near building that council would not allow to be removed. I was told I was ineligible for any refunds etc as I’d booked through last minute. Management did apologise though. Not very impressed.

It was convenient to shops, restaurants and transport. The receptionists were very helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. The connecting doors on studio rooms did not keep out the noise from next door.

Bathroom was very small with no room to hold toiletries. Toilet was not fixed securely to the floor (it actually moved). Towels had dirty marks and shower leaked. Worst Quest we’ve ever stayed at.
