Gold Status means nothing here
I sent the property an email in regard to an upgrade as per my Gold status. Zero response. Upon arrival I was booked into a small room facing a brick wall. This was a three day stay which had been booked for months earlier. The manager did finally upgrade me to a better room.

The location wasnt too bad it was a 5min qalk to the tram, 15min walk to melbourne central, 5min walk to woolworths and dairys below. Room wasnt cleaned everyday. The reception wasnt helpful, some workers were friendly but they had no idea about hospitality and toruism quiestions like help with local transport and general questions for visitors. One guy at the reception was very rude trying to tell us to put 13 bags in to one studio room whilst we waited for the rest of our 3 rooms to check in.

We arrived early and the staff helped check us in and stored our bags so we could go explore. We received an email notification when our room was ready. The bed was comfortable, the room was tidy and it was a nice stay.

Room was clean and tidy inside. Beds were comfy. Shower was good. Only issue was the A/C unit in my room was noisy after running for about 5 minutes so we had to turn it off overnight as we couldn’t sleep with it on and we got a bit hot. Recommend the buffet breakfast. It was very nice.

Simplely amazing! My stay was wonderful from beginning to the end. I was greeted with a warm welcome and to suprise my room was upgraded. The only downside was check in. My full first name was not on the booking, so they would not let me check in until the name was changed through hotels.com officially. “Name does not match Licence”. Anyway, after a delay of 30 minutes, we could check in. Other than that, I would stay there again.
