Resonable price for very good accommodation, very close to the Royal Eye Hospital, 350 metres to the left of the entrance and Aunty Mae's Vietnamese restaurant to the right around the corner in Gertrude St, 150 metres so it was all good for me, will stay again next year too. recommended

The hot water was not so we went without. Management was great but sadly it was too late. We had a lovely stay and it was worth it. No chairs on the balcony’s so you can’t enjoy them

Our room smelt so strongly of cleaning products that we had to get another room. The staff were very helpful and gave us an upgrade. Unfortunately there was still a smell of cleaning products in the new room, albeit fainter.

I imagine that this is a convenient place to stay for people who live out of town and are having treatment or family in nearby hospitals. We are locals who stayed there intending to get a couple of nights' respite from some open for inspections because our house is up for sale. We wished we hadn't bothered. The bed was comfortable enough (although only one pillow each, and when we asked for another couple, were told there probably weren't any spares! We ended up with one extra). Otherwise there is little to recommend. Rooms (we viewed two) are shabbily furnished and carpeted and reminiscent of a 2-star country motel. Bathroom was slightly grubby and whoever laid those tiles needs help. The whole place needs a good scrub and refresh. In summary, extremely disappointing.
