I liked the food especially the chicken nuggets and chips but the kids menu could of done with a single salad the beds were comfortable and cosy and the lobby was very fancy and posh and the hotel would be a great place to stay with friends and family. Overall a great stay

Its a lovely hotel. Unfortunately we had the odd experience of a maintenance person (at least i think he was - he had a paint tray and brush in his hand) scanning the lock on our door and walking right on in. Luckily we were not in any stages of undress. It was quite unnerving.

This was a very comfortable stay, Last minute booking on Wotif due to flight cancellation. Great rate with a great room. Less than 10min from the airport, so able to get some sleep quickly before an early morning back at the airport. Staff were fabulous. Very cheery and easy to deal with after a traumatic 5 hours at the airport. This would be my pick for a stay near the airport. Has a free shuttle for those wanting to be dropped off for a flight. Warm, comfortable, spacious and clean.

We booked this hotel because we flew back to Melbourne from Sydney the night before returning to US. The hotel was close to MEL (about a 15 min. Ride). And they offer free shuttle ride to the Airport once every hour. We did not have the chance to use most of the amenities due to our overnight stay.Nevertheless, I feel like I would have enjoyed it if we had more time. I would definitely book this hotel if it was closer to the city center (about 45min. With public transportation). Or this could be a value alternative if you don’t mind the extra effort to find transportation.

You cannot go wrong with Hyatt brand.
You cannot go wrong with the Hyatt brand. We just stayed there for the Melbourne GP, and it only took a 25-minute drive to the racecourse. We will definitely go back next year.

We are traditional Marriott guest, but the proximity of the Hyatt is what made us stay here. We were pleasantly surprise as to the quality of the staff, the property and food options. We had a wonderful dinner and breakfast at the Hyatt Place. We strongly recommend if you need something convenient to the airport.

Rooms were neat and clean, checkin easy, no complaints there. The only thing that leaves a sour taste is having to pay for parking in front of the hotel, why isn’t that included in the stay?
