The Edgewater Inn in Shady Cove, OR is clean, comfortable and well-kept. The only improvement I can suggest is streaming TV. The commercial-laden cable TV is a step back in time and has no "smart" functions to allow ad-free streaming using apps like Netflix or similar platforms.

This was a decent value for what we expect in an overnight stay. The only thing we missed was breakfast. We did appreciate coffee in the lobby in the morning.

Our room had a view of the Rogue River and a small patio where you could sit and listen to the water rippling by. Even saw a few fish jump. Very decent price.

Great location 1 hr from Crater Lake. Spacious, light, quiet room, pretty view of river. Pet friendly room had carpet. Hair on pillow cases.

Grandson enjoyed the pool while I enjoyed the hot tub. River view out off of the patio was very nice. Friendly staff. Nice room. Pleasant river walk out back door.

We stayed here due to its location for visiting Crater Lake. The property is an older style motel but is clean and well kept. Shady cove has limited dining options many of which were closed due to the time of our visit and a water problem in the town ( the hotel were great and provided bottled water). Rooms overlooking the river are the better ones but overall a great place to stay.
