Starwalk Luxury Off Grid Sky Walk by Grand Canyon

About this space
BEFORE BOOKING PLEASE READ THE “OTHER THINGS TO NOTE” SECTION. It has details you NEED TO KNOW before booking.

Here at Star Walk, we wish to provide unforgettable experiences for one to reconnect with our beautiful earth and the gift of Arizona night skies. Off the grid, short ways from the Grand Canyon you will find the Star Walk Tiny Home awaiting your company.
Our tiny home provides 360º exclusive privacy in a notorious star gazing destination.
The space
Minutes to nearby Lake Mead and Grand Canyon West- home of the Grand Canyon Sky Walk. Two hours to fabulous Las Vegas. Approximately forty-five minutes to historic Kingman, Arizona. The Grand Canyon Caverns are the largest dry caverns in the United States,

We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. The space is well-equipped with a queen size memory foam mattress, coffee, tea, shampoo and body wash.

Surrounded with mountain views and breathtaking scenery, our tiny home is built with large glass windows in the bedroom to intake all the beauty from the comfort of your bed.
The large porch has dining seating, a fireplace with seating and a barbecue with bulb string lights overhead to enjoy the warm nights outside under the stars.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and supplies.
The gorgeous full bathroom features a rainfall shower and LED mirror.

Is there heat or AC ? We have a mini Split, since the tiny home is running on a solar system, we recommend to use the AC or heat at night to keeping you warm on those chilly Arizona nights. But please note that is does get very cold in the winter, so bring an extra pair of PJs, thermals and long johns for added warmth :)

Is there electricity? Our solar power system is fully off grid. There are a couple of places for you to plug in your beloved cell phone to get a full charge! But the system can't handle devices that need a lot of power like blow dryers.

We have a wifi satellite that you can use, the wifi speed is not a stronger as normal wifi at home.
Guest access
We are about 2.5 miles from Pierce road and
You have access to 100 acres to explore, hike, and relax, Bring your own ATV and boat.
Other things to note
NOTE: This is a complete off grid desert experience, We do not offer refunds if the battery that powers the tiny home fails, You have to be careful with the energy your using. No hairdryers, toasters, and high wattage appliances.

The tiny home is located on 100 acres lot and there is no neighborhoods around.

The roads that lead to the Tiny Home are dirt roads and can get muddy in rain or snow. AWD vehicles are recommended, but any truck or SUV should be able to handle it. Cars can handle it slowly , but there’s a chance of getting stuck if it rains or snows and tow trucks are expensive. We do not offer any towing service.

Our Tiny Home is set up to be off-the-grid and runs on solar power. On gloomy days, our solar batteries may not be able to charge fully. In these instances, the fridge may be inoperable. We apologize in advance, but know you can still use the fridge as a cooler. We recommend buying foods that don't spoil easily, like eggs and fruit.

Lastly, it can get very cold in the winter. Freezing cold! Please pack accordingly. Before you stay, be sure to look up the weather in Valle, Arizona. Please pack extra warm clothing (thermals and long johns) to keep warm. Refunds will NOT be issued because it’s cold out. We have no control over the weather and want to be upfront about this from the beginning.

We've provided several cozy blankets and and the Mini split heating. We've personally stayed in tiny home a snowy night and did just fine! But if you're really sensitive to the cold weather, this may not be the place for you during the winter.

It's very important for us to be upfront about all of this, as we do not want to be dinged in our reviews for things out of our control. So please be mindful that this is and was always meant to be an outdoor experience.

If a mouse, bug, or the very rare snake sighting is going to ruin your day, this may not be the place for you.

Bad weather is not an extenuating circumstance for cancellation.

I decided for us to stay here because we went to the west grand canyon. It is a very beautiful tiny home. We saw the stars at night. Sunrise in the morning. I looked into this property to experience the "off the grid" vibe. I did review everything prior to booking like they mentioned. This place takes a little effort to get to because it is literally in the middle of a dessert/Joshua Forrest. Go during the day hours. We got there a little after sunset. There are no instructions listed inside this place. You kind of have to figure it out. So we had to figure out the heater. I called the host to ask where i could find firewood. They do not provide any so be sure to bring that with you bc its a bit of a hike back out to get to a store. Many things close early near there and they don't answer the phone. I called to see if they had firewood prior to leaving and no answer. I was also kind of let down that this property didn't have any firewood considering they have a firepit. They have charcoal for the grill but not firewood for the firepit. Luckily we were able to stay warm through out the night. The heat only runs for a few hours. This is true. We attempted to shower at night but was unable to bc the water did not get warm enough. The sink water gets warmer than the shower water. Be prepared for that. It stated that there were extra blankets to keep warm. I had to call the host again to ask about the extra blankets. He said someone must of stole it... so yea dress warm.

Magical Experience!
We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Never experienced stars and sunrise in such a clear and pure way. It was a great feeling to be disconnected from the world and enjoy this gorgeous earth. We had tough time finding it in the dark, so we do suggest going there during the day light. It has everything you need! If we are ever in the area, we will certainly stay again.
