Uncomfortable bed unfortunately
Nice and quiet area, it’s good to drive or you’ll spend lots of time in taxis. Room was spacious and decent but the bed, sheets and pillows were really uncomfortable, hence my poor rating

Quite a ways from everything. Restaurant was never open when I was on the property. The building and grounds were lovely. View and sound of waves was wonderful.

The property had no power. They transferred me to a different hotel which was very small, dirty and very unsafe. 2 hotel guests were murdered by the elevators

It was inconvenient that there was a fee for a guest to visit the hotel or basically visit you. Also, if you’re on ground level beware of frogs entering your bedroom.

Overall, the facility, room and service were great. My room, however, did not have Wifi. When I asked at front desk the attendant said WiFi was only available at the lobby. I was upset because the phone data reception was also very poor and I had to keep going to the lobby to send messages.

Place needs an Uplift
The place looks amazing on the outside but on the inside it needs some TLC. The staff was great. When speaking to the staff they said management has avoided putting more money in the up keep. I was talking to a tourist from another hotel and said he had a timeshare at at Diamond Bay but was ran out of the contract. He said it was the best thing ever as he noticed it looking old back then and wondered if they did any renovations. Like I said, staff is great! Just wish management would do better up keeping of the interior of the hotel.
