Private, cedar chalet on the ridge on 20+ acres. Gorgeous view of mountains, sunrise, moonrise. Great hiking on property. Four miles from Cacapon State Park and hiking,18 hole golf, swimming, boating, fishing, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing. Some of the best fly fishing in the East! Eight miles to town for mineral baths, spa, shopping and dining. 10 miles to C & O Canal Bike Rail Trail. Historic sites and skiing nearby. Walk to creeks.

Pool table/Table Tennis in rec room. Some clear area for outside sports and some trees for shade. Good hiking on property. Two Master Suites -- one with soaker tub and separate step-in shower, the other Master Suite is on the top floor with king bed, twin size sofa bed, private balcony and large adjacent bathroom with soaker tub. Great Mountain Chalet
My sisters and I stayed at the chalet for a 70th Birthday celebration. The chalet is set up for large or small groups. There were 5 of us, and we all had our own bedroom. The views were spectacular! Lots of outdoor dining, gazing at the stars, and just enjoying the views. Wonderful experience!

Golf Ladies Getaway
A group of ladies traveled to Berkley Springs to play golf for a couple of day. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect as well as the kitchen! Hot tube and fire pit outside were very nice! House was very comfortable and plenty of room for a group. We had a great time. Hope to be back!!

Kinney Cousins Annual Reunion
The number of beds and bedrooms worked well for our group. There was everything we needed and the view out the back of the house was spectacular. It was close to town and Cacapon Staye Park, which we didn't get there but hope to next year.

The house was beautiful with lots of space for the eight of us. The kitchen is well equipped. We especially enjoyed meals on the screen porch, time in the hot tub and star gazing on the deck. Jackie is an excellent host and very responsive

Very peaceful stay
The property has plenty of rooms and beds - was perfect for our group of 12 people. We enjoyed the hot tube, made fire and played endless matches of table tennis. The only downside for us was that some of the beds were not very comfortable and made sound whenever you had to turn.

Lovely week
My family and I spent a lovely week at this property. It was immaculate - well stocked, with several gathering spaces. Any issue was immediately addressed. There is a lot to do in the area, but it was also nice to sit on the porch and read, soak in the hot tub, have a fire in the fire pit and roast marshmallows, or play tennis table or pool.

House was clean and the perfect size for our 3 families. Great location to the downtown area and beautiful State Park. We wished we could have located the on-site fishing spot but had trouble with that. Host was friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend!

Girls Trip
We absolutely loved our stay here! The house has great common areas for gathering and the kitchen had everything we needed for preparing group meals. The bedrooms were really nice and the insulation between floors was great, too! If you were sleeping in on one level, you couldn't hear the group on another level. The six of us women enjoyed the hot tub and the mountain views and because the place was so remote, we didn't have to worry about all our chatter bothering neighbors - haha. We would definitely love to come back in the spring through fall timeframe to enjoy all the other outside gathering areas.

This was our second stay at Sky Mountain and it was just as great as the first stay! We celebrated Christmas with our daughter, son in law and grands and so much to do to keep little one occupied! The house is warm, comfortable and the communication with Jackie is outstanding! The kitchen had everything you need to cook an entire Christmas dinner and then some! Plenty of room for the family to move around! We love having two fireplaces upstairs and downstairs. If your thinking of booking don’t wait! Super clean and everything worked like a charm. Check in was very easy. We just love sky mountain and the Berkeley Springs area!

If there was more than 5 stars, it would get that......wonderful!!!
First of all the place is Well maintained a great size so that everybody can enjoy themselves without necessarily feeling on top of each other even little details are enjoyed such as a foot rest for a outdoor swinging chair which honestly I had never seen before. The views are spectacular. The owner is beyond accommodating. My family and I are not the easiest people to deal with in reference to flexibility and timing as things often come up That can change plans and schedules and the owner was not only willing to help out but seemed happy to do so. Would recommend to anyone without hesitation whether you have kids or not.

A Relaxing Mountain Retreat
We had a wonderful girls' weekend at Sky Mountain Chalet. It's a great location, and the house is beautifully appointed, with plenty of bedrooms and an open concept allowing for both privacy and conversation. The outdoor fire pit and hot tub are an added bonus. Jackie, the host, was very responsive throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this property!
