Cozy, Quiet Getaway
Perfect place to unwind with wood stove, firepit, hammock and decks on both sides of the home. I just wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

Nice secluded home near many adventure opportunities
The house was great and met our immediate needs for a long weekend. There are a couple of minor constructive items that I would recommend (Better marking of Clover Trail and the home. If it were dark when we arrived it would have been a real challenge to find., blinds for the bathrooms, and a small counter space microwave would have been helpful.). Other than these small items the place was great

Some issues but fairly easily resolved
The property matched its listing, but we encountered some issues. Upon our arrival on Wednesday evening, we found that the mini split was leaking water, soaking a cushion on a kitchen stool. The property manager was very responsive, and someone came to resolve the issue by Friday. Fortunately, the temperatures were cool enough that this didn’t cause any discomfort. The upstairs toilet also had flushing problems, often failing to make a proper seal. While this issue wasn’t fully resolved during our stay, we could flush it manually by removing the tank lid. Additionally, a rotten step on the property broke, causing one of us to fall. Despite these issues, the effective communication from the property manager made the situation manageable, and we enjoyed our time in the Hot Springs area.

Holidays 2023 at a peaceful mountain cabin
Lovely home. Clean and cozy. spent holidays with the family and everything was great. One recommendation is to stock the kitchen with basic items (spend $10 - $15 bucks) on a potato peeler and a spaghetti strainer. Some people do like to cook. Overall a great place

The Cabin
The location of the cabin was perfect for our trip. The Cabin itself was very well displayed. The size and layout were captivating. A beautiful cottage cabin, warm and cozy. The master bedroom bed provided me one of the best sleeps away from home.

Nice stay in Marshall
Overall, this is a very nice property. The beds were comfortable and the house is convenient to Hot Springs and downtown Marshall. The layout of the house was great. A few things to note: there are no cutting knives in the kitchen. Difficult to cut a baguette with a steak knife. There is also no microwave. The couch is great if only 2 people are hanging out in the living room. When there were three of us, I had to sit on the floor. There are individual heaters in each room and the one in the bedroom upstairs sounded like a vacuum was going all night. We ended up sleeping without it the second night. Also, bring some camping chairs if you want to sit around the firepit, otherwise you're sitting on stumps. The house is great if you overlook those simple fixes.

Cozy cabin
We enjoyed our stay, the cabin was cozy and perfect size for 5 of us and a dog. The kitchen had all the basic needs for cooking. The road up was curvy and would have been difficult to navigate in the dark. Steve was super friendly, the fire alarm batteries died shortly after he greeted us so he came back super fast to help us out.

Just Fair
We stayed at this property over the Thanksgiving weekend. Knowing it was a holiday we came prepared with some food and kitchen supplies. However, the cabin was missing essential kitchen supplies-mainly a microwave, along with other smaller items such as no dish cloth or measuring cups. The place was surface level clean but did have cob webs noticeable in several areas. There is no sound proofing and you can hear anything from every room in the cabin which wasn't ideal with children. We also brought our dog with us as the cabin was advertised as pet friendly, however the pet fee is $200. I would also agree with the other reviewer who said outdoor was not as private as pictures depicted. There is another cabin directly across and this is location on a very steep hill with not a very large yard area. We did enjoy the deck swings and hammock. Overall we had a great time with family but found the cabin to be just fair. It was an approximately 30 minute drive to Ashville.

Great Mountain Stay!
My boyfriend and I spent a week at this property while working from home. We had thoroughly enjoyed the location and outdoor space with the beautiful front porch and fire pit area. The property was extremely clean and comfortable. We also had no issues with internet while both being on video calls throughout the day. Would highly recommend!

HGTV Makeover!
This cabin is delightful- decorated to a T and extremely comfortable. We stayed a few days with our dog. It’s a bit difficult to find - particularly in the dark - our daughter joined us but needed to stay in a hotel the first night having arrived so late! There’s a wonderful valley view if you go across the road to what might be a little extension of the driveway. Otherwise, you’ll be cozy in the woods. Marshall is a very picturesque little town with simple access to Asheville. We hope to return for a longer stay and get know the area better when we don’t have a wedding to take up our time. We highly recommend this cabin - go - you’ll be happy!

Clearer policy communication
We had a very nice stay. However, I wish that Yonder were more upfront regarding their very extensive rental agreement policies prior starting the booking process - especially since they offer no refund within 2 months of the stay (I booked only 4 weeks out.) Athough the property description clearly said it was dog friendly, there were numerous exclusionary stipulations thay we could not meet in the rental agreement. I contacted them directly and was very appreciative that the Home Owner ultimately waived 2 specific req'ts (dog age & neutering). It just didn't need to be so difficult when a simple note in the original description would have eliminated the issue. Overall, we had a good visit but started off on the wrong foot.

Beautiful mountain getaway!
We had a great time at Cabin Oasis and would book again. Great amenities, very clean, loved the outdoor space. One bed was listed as a queen bed but was actually a pull-out couch, just FYI for future renters. Driveway is treacherous but we all made it up and out. Overall a great stay! If you're looking for a lovely retreat near Asheville, this is a great option.

Remote location in woods with all the necessary amenities!
If you’re looking for a remote location in the woods, this is it! It’s somewhat close to Marshall, Mars Hill and Weaverville. The towns shut down around 5pm during the weekdays but we found some good restaurants. The drive up to the cabin is not well marked but thankfully we were coming in when it was still light out. The sofa is not cozy, comfy at all. It looks great in the space but not great for curling up to watch a show or enjoy the fireplace. Kitchen had all the necessary items to cook our various meals, except we sure did miss having a microwave. My husband and I were able to work during the day, so Wi-Fi is strong enough for video conferencing.
