Guests driving to the property should be aware of seasonal road closures. Hwy 120 (Tioga Pass) closes October through late June, restricting east-to-west travel across the park. Yosemite's eastern gate and Tuolumne Meadows are not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. Great place to stay in Mariposa
We enjoyed our stay at Miners Inn. We stayed for 2 nights while hiking at Yosemite National Park. We found it comfortable, we had everything we needed, it was quiet and all around a great place to stay if you are visiting the area.

We stayed for 2 nights for a wedding. The front desk woman was awesome and has great style. Check in and check out was super easy. Lots of parking. Room was clean and had mostly everything we needed. Our AC wouldn't stay on but we were only there for 2 nights and didn't bother with getting another room since it was fairly cold outside. The toilet flush had to be held down for a long time to completely flush. No hand soap/bar soap for hand washing, we had to buy some. Other than that, we had no issues with our room. Convenient location near restaurants, a bar, coffee shops, a grocery store, and a Rite Aid, though the Rite Aid was very low on stock. No place to shop for clothes nearby so make sure you have all the clothes you may need for your trip ahead of time, otherwise you may have to drive 45mins to an hour to the nearest Kohl's, Target, or Walmart.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check-in early (- was really great to off-load our bags into our room before hiking in Yosemite)! The room rate was considerably inexpensive relative to the other local lodging (everything was surprisingly clean and nice)! They had a great Continental Breakfast, including hot meat (sausages), fruits, etc. The "Lounge" restaurant was just across the parking lot and was perfect for an easy dinner! - Great portions, quality, and ambiance! We're really glad that we chose The Miners Inn. - So should you!
