El hotel , está bueno y tranquilo, pero deberían mejorar algunas cosas, cuando llegue al check in y en el check out, no habia nadie, llamé varias veces, esperé hasta que llegó la persona, no tengo quejas de él, fue muy amable y se disculpo por el tiempo de espera. Lo otro, fue que el desayuno estaba bien pobre, café, no había pan. Deberían mejorar el desayuno. De lo demás todo bien

First I did not like that I was told a deposit was due to check in so I would be prepared for an additional expense which should have been on the confirmation. Next, the first room had mold on the bed and the wall. There were several mattresses located on the property that just kind of hung out in the hallway. In fact, there was one leaning on the wall right next to the second room they put me in. The second room was better but the AC did not cool the room off until about 3 or 4 in the morning in which it was about time for me to be getting ready to leave. Needless to say the night before I had to sit in front of the AC unit to get cool air. Last but not least, the breakfast had to be the worst part. There was cereal with no bowls and the cereal dispenser didn't work. The fruit was old and appeared to have mold on it. I toasted some bread but there were no plates so I had to use a napkin. The milk for the cereal was community milk in a fridge in which I had no idea who was using this milk and if the milk was tainted or not. It's clear this hotel is a crack hotel but I must remember that you get what you pay for. Next time I won't be so cheap.

A bad rap of a hotel
After checking in and got to the room this what happen' 1. Scratches on the floor 2. Alarm Clock did not work 3. One the lights next to the bed was missing the bulb 4. The night before we left the smoke alarm started beeping 5. Couches in the mirror in the bathroom 6. Crappy stains on the walls 7. Shower rod was bent in the middle 8. A beer left in refrigerator from the previous guest 9. Parking lot had holes all in it 10. Homeless hanging out in and around the place 11. Weeds and Grass growing all over the place 12. No cover for the TV control unit the battery's kept falling out 13. Overall the place looked very run down does not look like anything online website whatsoever even for the low price this place could have been a little bit better maintain NOTE : The pool was the best part it was clean how ever the walking around surface needs to be repaired there's lots of concrete popping was there is sharp things to cut your feet THE WORST PART ON THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST ; 1. Did not conist of anything it hardly had any food to eat for the guest 2. There was not coffee pot they claimed it was broken and waiting on a new one all they had to do was drive down the street to Walmart to buy one hell there was a coffee shop across the street they could have had them being some over, we had to eat down the street for both mornings costing us $25.00 each day a total of $50.00 not counting the tip.

No garbage can in the room. Roaches in the room. Power strip broken. Broken furniture. Floor dirty. One hanger to hang clothing. On the second night I had roaches crawling on me around 1:00 AM so I never went back to sleep. Breakfast was only cereal and bread. Dog in the kitchen. Animal crap in the walkways. Staff not professional. Very disappointed. Left a day earlier, they refused to give me a refund for one night. The health department and the fire department need to have that place inspected. Never again, will contact my credit card company for a refund of one night.

The price was great, around $60 a night, which is unheard of considering the chain hotels closest wanted over a hundred (I do usually stay at Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn). I was looking for the old drive up motel feel this trip and Residence Hub provided that, clean rooms, great water pressure, and a remarkably clean pool. The grass and parking lot were VERY clean despite accepting pets. No bed bugs or fleas found, and they offered breakfast (cold cereal and maybe toast), and the ice machine worked great. In room coffee, microwave, and one of the neatest mini-fridges with freezer! On the downsides, towels were an issue, the long-suffering day staff not understanding 'washcloth' or claiming they didn't have them, and housekeeping provided bath towels but not hand, which were there the first day. Also, no blankets on the beds and a recommendation in the room to keep the air set at 70, which is pneumonia level for me. We didn't experience any of the 'floor sweating' that was warned about with thermostat set to higher temps. The hotel did have blankets stacked in the laundry room, and possibly even washcloths, but I didn't trespass and my vision isn't that good. Finally, a local we were chatting with at the Caverns said we'd picked the hotel of ill repute, but we didn't see any of the back and forth of sweaty-palmed, seamy looking, or scantily-clad individuals one associates with such places. There was a rather nice black and white cat begging for scraps, however.

We booked a king room, which on Expedia, was touted as "sleeps 3". With our 8 year old grandson we expected a separate couch or pullout. But that wasn't the case. Manager suggested that we all sleep in the same bed. We declined and refused the offered room change as they would charge us more to do so and it was going on 11 pm at that time .Manager reluctantly brought us a blanket and extra pillows for my grandson. Also, the "breakfast" was nothing but cereal and toast. Plus, the pool seemed to only be open at the managers (he said it was the 'owners') discretion. We did enjoy the pool but was disappointed in the lack of pool time provided. But most importantly, I was told at check-in there was a $50 deposit required. That was NEVER mentioned in the booking process. And, the most alarming issue is that it is now 24 hours since we have checked out and the transaction has not hit my bank account as yet. We have already decided we will never stay at this particular hotel ever again.
