The "Sly Fox Den" is a cozy little place located in Marenisco, MI with easy access to snowmobile/ATV trails located just across the road. With beautiful Lake Gogebic and many other surrounding lakes in the area, it is a fisherman's paradise! A newly remodeled kitchen is a great place to cook up a comforting meal after a long day on the trails, lakes, or in the woods with your favorite hunting partners. Relax in the front porch and play cards or just hang out and discuss your next adventure. The bedrooms have 1 Queen size bed and 2 twin beds with a futon that pulls out into a full size bed located in the living room. A cot is also available for that last-minute guest!

Great place!
What a great place! We could ride the short distance to the snowmobile trails, great places to dine within 15-20 minutes. Had a few deer walk through the yard early morning and plenty of room to park 2 trailers. Will be booking again!

Nice renovation in a nice location
Great winter spot for snowmobilers: Quick & easy trail access; Long driveway with room for trailers, unloading, & sled parking; More than enough room inside house to spread out your gear.Kitchen: Cookware was in great condition. Plenty of floor space to store large coolers.Bathroom: Was clean and contained many toiletry items you might have forgotten. Nice new shower head with wand. I couldn't find the switch to use the vent fan. No lock on door.Master bedroom: Queen mattress becoming a bit too soft for my taste, but I didn't lose sleep over it. Watch out for stubbing your toes on the bed frame. Room also contained a wide dresser, bedside tables, hooks for hanging clothes, and a quiet ceiling fan.Second bedroom: Also contains a closet with a hanger rod. My teenagers said the twin mattresses were less than ideal.Dining & Living rooms: Nice view of pine trees out the windows (instead of a neighbor's windows). The futon is a typical couch-length, but if sleeping out there, occasional road noise may be heard (especially during plowing season).The Host was very receptive and quick to respond via the Vrbo app.It snowed each overnight of our stay and the driveway was always plowed out by the next mid-morning.Overall I recommend this place and would stay here again.

Enjoyable Stay
The house was clean & cozy. We enjoyed the sunroom very much. Location was quiet. Went to Bond Falls, Porcupine Mountains, & several smaller Falls. The house was truly a "Home Away From Home." The only complaint is the back door latch needs some work.

Great location wonderful host
The location was excellent for our family trip. House well stocked and clean, close to just about anything you would want to do outdoors. We golfed fished swam and visited several lakes including Superior for some rock hunting. Would recommend to anyone great stay.

Affordable stay only 10 minutes from Gogebic Lodge where we moored our fishing boat. Marenisco is incredibly quiet. Home was very well kept up-to-date with good functioning utilities/appliances. Nice outdoor touches throughout. Lot's of room and the front windowed porch is like a sun-room and great place to gather as a larger group. Thanks Jody for sharing your premises and consumables!
