Wow! This home was immaculate, roomy, and absolutely stunning. Main master suite: the bathroom was large, bright, clean. Separate toilet area with a pocket door. Large closets with hangers provided. King sized bed was nice (though the mattress is pretty soft, and the mattress pad was waterproof with a rubber backing, which made for noisy rolling over). The blinds at the sliding glass door to pool didn’t work either, but not that big a deal, since we left them closed. There was a television in the room with a great cable selection. 2nd master was a bit smaller, but still quite comfy. Again, the bed was softer than expected, but that was about the only complaint. This bedroom also contained a TV with cable box. The 3rd bedroom was on the 2nd floor. This featured a queen bed and a lovely balcony that had 2 chairs and a small table. The balcony overlooked the canal, and allowed you to get a bit of the sunset view. There was also a curly-tailed lizard hanging around up there. The room did not have a TV. This room had a Jack & Jill bathroom which was shared with the other upstairs bedroom which features a cute boat twin bed, with an additional trundle bed under the boat. There was a TV in that room.
The living room was large and spacious, with a HUGE (over 80”) television mounted on the wall, with full cable as well. (All the TV’s are smart TV’s, so you can log into your Netflix/Prime/Hulu accounts…don’t forget to log out before you leave!!!) The downstairs is very open, with high ceilings and tile floors. This leads to a very “loud” room, echoing like a concert hall. The kitchen was well-supplied with dishes, though figuring out where everything was is always fun! Before you go shopping, check in the pantry/cupboards…there are plenty of seasonings (salt/pepper, etc) and enough coffee filters to last a year or more! The coffee maker is a Mr. Coffee and takes the basket-style filters. There is also a Keurig, but no adapter baskets, so either buy k-cups or bring an adapter to use your own coffee.
The pool was perfect. The water was never too hot. Like many of the homes on Marco, they are using a solar water heating system, but it’s not necessary in the summer. There were plenty of toys to play with as well. Bikes in the garage, rolling cart to bring to beach, chairs, umbrellas, fishing poles. Such an easy walk to the beach, too!
You won’t regret staying here!
