Beach house with no beach stuff
The place was nice, but it’s located in the beach area with NO beach stuff. Chairs, cooler, beach buggy where no where to be found. It was very frustrating to pay that amount of money with no beach supplies. We had to purchase the stuff and then give it all away when we left. It was a big expense that we should have not had to pay. We were also a little freaked out with the camera outside the door.

Fake property
I booked the property through the VRBO two days before my staying with very cheap price, but my reservation was cancled by the property manager when I got there. it made me pay another room, exactly the same layout and function as the original reserved room with double price.

Owner cancelled without telling us.
After we drove all the way down from South Carolina, the owner said he wasn’t participating in VRBO. Our payment was already accepted. He didn’t return our call the first time we called. We called again when we got there. That’s when he told us the bad news.

VRBO customer service rocks!
We had rented a different place to stay but after the owner never responded and we had no where to go, VRBO stepped in and took care of us! What started off bad turned out to be a vacation we will never forget!
