Faulty towers revisited
1st thing I need to point out is that I received a phone call from the hotel asking what time I was checking in! There is no mention of a check in time needed on website. I had to change plans to ensure I checked in. I do understand that staff have lives and the lady on reception was very apologetic but still ..,,, 2nd thing , there is no lift. I was given a room on the 2nd floor and had to lift my very heavy suitcase up several flights of stairs ( I’m no spring chicken ) 3rd thing , the TV had no remote. And because I arrived late and given the fact the lady on reception clearly needed to rest, I did not feel I could ask for help. 4th thing, I could hear an entire conversation being had in the room next to me. No one’s fault but obviously the walls are thin so bring earplugs. On the positive side . The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean

Fully recommend for short biz trips...
Only a 1-night stay on business, but the check-in was prompt and friendly, room comfortable, plenty of sockets for laptops, iPads, phones etc and the food in the restaurant (I had the meatball starter and combination shish for main), was excellent. Full English in the morning could have been a bit more impressive, but overall a good stay. Fully recommend for short business trips.

It was central staff were pleasant though on other points it was poor - breakfast was substandard, hash brown , only 1,was still cold on underside, one small poor quality sausage, no tomato, no mushroom, no toast with meal. Juice was cordial. Room heaters were turned off overnight and day- worked evening and morning. Room quiet small. Shower cut out. 1/2 pint was £6. No lounge area. Staff smoked just outside front.

This is a working mans rest stop
Could do with some modernisation bedroom bin was dirty, bathroom toilet smelly, place run down and grimey, noisy at night but on main road so maybe expected.

Nice, but not excellent stay
The staff where lovely but there was work needed in the rooms. It was generally clean with nice fresh bedding. However our shower cubicle had mould on the silicon sealant and the paint work generally could do with a refresh. We only had breakfast, but that was nice.

Very old property with broken windows,
The property was so dirty that i did not stay for the night, the smell, the rigged carpet and it's filled with cigarette smoke, we left there to book for another hotel, what's on the website is not what is on the property, this is a scam, i will make sure i get my money back, i couldn't stay there, it was too bad.
