We used the location as a base of operations as we explored Mesa Verde, Cortez, Delores, Four corners and shiprock. Comfortable quarters and a dark sky experience.

Visit to Mesa Verde National Park
Great place to stay. Awesome log cabin in a beautiful private setting. Close to Mesa Verde. We had some snow and colder weather, so the wood burning fire place was spectacular. We used the fireplace every evening.

Beautiful Quiet Cabin
This was a very unique and gorgeous cabin. There was all sorts of interesting furniture and the log cabin interior was gorgeous. The showers were so very cool and the yard was beautiful. You can see the large mountains in the distance and we got to see hummingbirds, scrubjays, deer, and lots of other fun birds. The cats were friendly and fun to watch. The host was responsive and very friendly. The neighbors were respectful, friendly and quiet.

Back to nature
The property and cabin are a great escape. We loved the access to nature, to Mesa Verde, and to Durango. It was a perfect center point for a 4-day weekend trip with our family. The house was charming and the back deck was the perfect place to start and end the day. Our tween kids loved exploring the area. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Cabin
Our family had a relaxing stay at this welcoming rustic cabin. We Loved the spacious open floor plan and large family style kitchen with the Huge island! We love to gather and cook! The back deck is large and Amazing for cookouts, gathering and the stargazing, WOW! The host was immediately responsive to everything we needed and sweet as can be! The on-site cabin neighbors did give privacy and space but if you want to chat (we are the ‘chatty type’) they are very nice and friendly. We will definitely go back at some point!
