This is a nice hotel, very clean and comfortable and with friendly and helpful staff. My onle gripe is that I paid for an upgrade to a room with a balcony. The balcony was tiny and you certainly could not sit out there, so not worth the money. Also, there was a concrete pillar in the room, by the bed which you had to negotiate getting in and out of bed. The space between the pillar and the bed was even more tiny and, being someone who gets up in the night, I could have done without the obstacle. Other than that, a great hotel with the best hotel shower I have ever experienced.

Great location, great room!
The room was very nice and modern. We just found it a tad tight in comparison to other “balcony” type rooms that we have stayed at in Manchester before. The staff were lovely and housekeeping was also excellent.

Check in and out were quiet long in terms of the queuing. At check in we were put in a cosy room although we booked a deluxe. We told the reception staff and they were extremely apologetic, gave us a free alcoholic drink and a free breakfast for the following morning. During our time at breakfast we were greeted with very friendly staff. Just because of the service - next time we are in Manchester I will book the same hotel - deluxe suite only.

The Reach is a lovely, new hotel close to Piccadilly Station. The only staff I came into contact with were both at reception. Neither of them were the friendliest. Check in was a little awkward. I was told the only thing outstanding was the £1.20 tourist fee but as I presented my card to the card reader I saw that I was being charged £51.20. Only then when I queried the £51.20 charge was I told that there was a £50.00 security deposit. Its not good enough to be told of this additional charge only after I have paid it.

Amazing hotel
We loved our stay at the reach, it exceeded our expectations. The location was great, right next to the train station, staff were so friendly and nothing was too much for them. Room was very clean, good shower, comfy bed. Only issue was our tv was very slow but that didn’t matter much. Would love to visit again!
