Check in was horrible. Then the AC sounded like it would explode. The ice machine was out of order. It was in a very bad area.

Bug Infested
Let me start with the good. Cause there wasn't much good regarding my stay. The hotel staff was friendly and the shower had very good water pressure. That's it. Now for the bad. I arrived at 2 for check in after driving from the Tampa Bay area to avoid hurricane Milton. I was told my room wasn't ready and it would be another hour. So I left and came back at 3. At 3 the room still wasn't ready. I think they could tell that I was not happy with that, so they offered me a different room. At first glance the room appeared to be fine. But after off loading my bags I noticed bugs. Within the 1st hour in the room I killed at least 12 bugs. Most were baby roaches. The morning of my first night I was awakened by a bug that was crawling on my face. At that point I considered going to a different hotel but couldn't find availability anywhere. So I had to suck it up until Milton passed. Once Milton passed I checked out a day early. I was constantly killing bugs throughout my stay there.

Rooms are worn out. Sheets and blankets were laundered but show signs of old stains. Furniture mismatched but useable. Pool dirty. No Kleenex or coffee in room. No coffee in lobby. Lobby is secured by locked foyer. I’m assuming due to crime. Of course all of this unknown when we booked. Trying to do this trip on a budget. You get what you pay for.

Absolutely filthy.Roaches,non working toilet, rusty ice machine.Never stayed ,Left on the first night and travelocity refused to refund my money.I will continue to try to get a refund but I will no longer be using travelocity.Staff at the hotel swore that I would receive a refund but ducked travelocity every time they called. Imagine you need approval from the horrible hotel you booked through travelocity to receive a refund.
