The rooms were fine. You could hear the trains passing by and some other noises. The pool was very small you could only get your feet wet and it wasn’t very clean. The WiFi is not the best but after the staff restarted it, it was fine. For one night this stay is fine but not longer.

Property is close to the markets, restaurants and bus stop.
My triple bedroom reservation wasn’t available when I arrived with my family so the first day I have to sleep in a very tiny double bedroom.
We change into the triple bedroom the following morning with a $15 fee for upgrade the room .
The room did not look AT ALL like the pictures you show in your web. Also it was very noisy. Noise of trains until 8 pm and then started again at 6 pm!
The staff was friendly but the room was very bad. Thus, we were very disappointed by the relation between the price and the reality. Also, Breakfast is only until 8 am!
This cute little hotel was in an excellent location. The place is does not have many frills/amenities, but is the perfect place to relax in comfort after a day at Machu Picchu. Plus, the stay were EXCEPTIONALLY kind to us. We got sick and needed to stay an extra night, and they were able to accommodate us at a moment's notice. Definitely recommend!

Bed was comfortable but too close to the train station with too much noise
We didn’t stay at that hotel. When we get to the hotel, the guy at the front desk told us he had only small beds. He suggested to switch to another close by hotel, the Quetzal. I think this hotel was a lower category. Hotel looked new but beds were so hard, we couldn’t sleep well and next morning we had to got up at 5 am to leave for Machu Picchu

Liked: Cleanliness
Pro: A person actually cam to receive at the station. Staff is help full.
Check out time 9:00 am is too early.
Con: Noisy being too close to station.
People slam the doors when closing.
Hot water was never hot for shower.
Functional Hotel for the one night stay ; Clean, friendly staff.
Pros:
1. the hotel is very close (5min walk) to the peruRail station, which is great if you have bags.
2. We got room# 304 which had a great view of the mountain and a corner view.
3. breakfast available at 5AM, which is great to start early for machupichu. But the breakfast is Okay - coffee, juice, fruits, snack, bread. No eggs.
4. they keep the luggage and have locker to store your bags when you go for the trek.
Cons:
1. bathroom could have been a little bigger. but okay for a night.
It's a decent hotel with basic facilities however it is right next to the train station. Feels like the trains are goung right through the room. Hard to get good aleep

Not a very good place to find
Too noise and smelling diesel from the trains; breakfast from 6:00 to 8:00 AM and checkout at 9:00 AM. Not in line with Expedia add.
We waited 30 minutes for the receptionist to arrive and start the paperwork.

Close to train station but extremely small rooms.
Aguas Calientes is just a town to sleep a few hours and get to Machu Picchu the next morning. The rooms in this hotel are extremely small. We could barely open our luggage on the floor without walking over it. But for the price, I can't complain much. Again hotels in this town are just to sleep a few hours and you're checking out.
Hotel conditions were much poorer than expected, very simple, dirty bathroom, noisy next to train station

Problems From Beginning
When we checked in we were given a room on the fifth floor. Great, a view! No elevator? Okay, stairs it is! But then... we got to our room and the power wasn't working. We thought that perhaps Macchu Pichu experiences electricity blackouts so we would give it a little while to start working (plus we just carried all of our stuff up five flights of stairs, so we were tired). Then we got thirsty, so we went down to grab some drinks and noticed that the power was working downstairs. We told the front desk we had no power. They fixed it. Then we realized our TV wasn't working. So we went back downstairs for that. They said they could change our room to the third floor. The third floor does NOT have a view. In fact the view is of a local apartment complex... right through the non-existent walls. But the TV in that room wasn't working either. We opted for our room on the fifth floor, but there was a lot of up and down on those stairs. The positive? The rooftop balcony is a great place to enjoy a cold beer (if you can find a cold one!)
The hotel was really not what I expected. I didn't expect much, but for $58 a night, I expected more.
The rooms are very small, the mattress was worn out, the bathroom walls and ceiling were covered in mildew, and the ceiling fan in the room was about to fall down.
The only upside, is that the staff were friendly and helpful.
We rented 2 rooms, when we got back after a long day visiting Macchu Picchu both of our room got ROBBED! , Around 1200$ in total
We filed a police report with the local police but that doesn't change anything in a country like Peru. The receptionist and cleaning lady know each other they didn't even want to call the police i had to go and call them myself, just sy book a different hotel its not worth it!!!
If anyone wants a proof of a police report i have it i am not lying.
The location was great , but all the hotels are in the center. the internet was very slow in the lobby and there was none in the room. The breakfast was very poor. The room was not ready when we arrived at 3. 00 p.m. It is more a hostel than a hotel.
