Courteous service at Holiday Inn Macau, IHG Hotel
There are English speaking front-desk staff members. The service is always courteous. The hotel is under-going renovation, according to the welcome letter put on the desk in the guest room. I am not sure if this is the reason that the western restaurant was closed during these days.

Rooms smell like cigarettes! We stayed in a non-smoking floor but still cigarette smell was strong. Employees don’t smell it because they are used to it already.

In a great location, shops and larger hotels nearby, you can walk to old town, to the water. The lobby bathrooms needed attention. Excellent staff, all friendly.

Staff was friendly and helpful, room was kept clean and room service and restaurant was adequate. Property a bit run down and lift bit dirty and smell of cigarettes, even if there is a nonsmoking sign.
