4 adult siblings gathered for one’s 60th bday. 1st time here and I loved it. Loved the rooms with the 2 doors and everyone gets the same view and a patio/balcony. Don’t know if it was the beds or mountain air but I slept great. Very crowded as there was a wedding on site that weekend which made the restaurant/bar service very slow and busy but I’m not gonna bash anyone for that. Could have had more than one bartender though. We ate dinner twice and breakfast buffet once and the food was very good. No fridge or microwave in room but we had coolers and had a little bday party in the room. It’s an older lodge but is updated with plenty of lighting and plugs(3 prong) so you can bring some of your own small appliances if you’re driving(fan, electric kettle….). Always had hot water in the shower. Walls a little flimsy so bring some earplugs We also had amazing weather and peak leaf season It is not a fancy 5 star place but I found it perfect for all of us

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
This place is all about location. The rooms are about as good as a good Days Inn, so they are expensive for what you get.
My wife and I had a wonderful, peaceful relaxing time. This is a beautiful getaway. I highly recommend the elevated pot roast. The breakfast sausage is amazing. Very dog friendly.
The facility itself is beautiful, situated in a simply gorgeous setting. Staff are wonderful, the restaurant is very good, and the rooms were clean and rustic. A wonderful stay that we hope to repeat.
Very relaxing and peaceful stay. Views from our balcony were spectacular.
Service was lacking, due to staffing shortage, but all the staff there were extremely pleasant and helpful.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
View of the peaks was nice as well as the balcony, facility needs major upgrading, bathroom was needing thorough cleaning, rooms were very noisy to neighbors next door, charged my credit card when I had no additional purchases, shuttle to the peaks was pricey for the experience, dining experience was barely average and pricey, overall disappointing given we choose to spend our 50th wedding anniversary here having visited here 50 years ago on our honeymoon.
