Knew I'd made an error booking this place when I was asked to send very sensitive, personal information to the owner via WhatsApp (please don't do this).
Upon arrival, the room was absolutely freezing; heating only operable by the owner rather than the guest so we had to put oven on to keep us warm! No curtains. Fridge thick with yellow grime. Toilet soiled and left for us to flush. Nowhere near enough bedsheets and no fitted sheets at all - my child was expected to sleep directly on sofa bed. Requests for the right amount of sheets went ignored. The thin covers we were given were covered in stains. Food debris all over kitchen counter. Owner refused to help us, directly or through Hotels.com. Book at your own risk.

We were disappointed with the property for the following reasons;
a) no heat when we first got there…I sent an e-mail and received a response eventually, but we did not have heat until well into the night. The email was not specific how we should turn on the heat. No hot water and for much of the night we were cold. The host eventually turned on the heat but we were uncomfortable for much of the stay.
b) the host did laundry (towels/sheets) until well after midnight and this prevented our sleep.
c) there are no drapes and the garden light was too bright, disrupting our sleep.
The owner of this property was very helpful. He answers the phone straightaway and was very cooperative. I’ve had a brilliant stay and would definitely recommend!
