In the morning you can go to the lake and spend a wonderful day swimming, sunbathing and fishing.

Surrounded by beautiful nature with many possibilities, Myllatunet is an ideal destination all year round for those who are passionate about nature. The hiking trails stretch as far as the eye can see and there are plenty of fishing opportunities, in summer the area is also ideal for cycling. In winter, you will find cross-country ski trails leading all over Nordmark and all the way to Oslo just a few steps from the house. Mining is of historical importance in the village of Grua, and here you can visit Norway's oldest registered iron mine dating back to 1538. The Østhagan nature reserve with its old iron mines is therefore one of the main attractions in the Grua district. The Hadeland Mining Museum is dedicated to the mines, rocks and minerals of the area and is also an interesting excursion destination.
