People are so nice. Room was small but comfortable. The toilet seat was smaller than tje toilet bowl and ackward. The lady at reception made the stay. So. Nice and helpful

Basic property about a mile from the train station in Lugano with limited dining options nearby. Our room had 2 beds and a small kitchenette with almost no dishes (so if you want to actually use the kitchenette you’ll need to bring your own). The stay was comfortable for the price, but rooms are on a busy street so it gets quite loud if a window is open. I would not recommend this stay to light sleepers!

We stayed at this hotel for one night on our journey from Lake Como to Zurich. Website information is little misleading that this location is walkable to Lugano train station. But its 1.5 km from station, but there is bus stop opposite to the hotel. This looked like apartment coverted to hotel. very basic ameneties. Hotel staff was good and provided details for late check in, but did not give correct details about bus in the morning to go to train station. One couple helped us in the morning with bus details and we were able to reach station on time to catch 6:35 am train. It is very hard to find cab in this area. Bus is preferable, so please make sure you have enough details about bus schedules. I would not recommend this hotel until you have very short stay to catch an early train.

Very small for three people. Seemed very damp. The location was good. 15 minute walk to the centre of the city or the bus stop was right outside the hotel. Staff were friendly. Very expensive place to eat.

Location is great. Very close to the lake and the train station. The AC barely works and when asked the staff for help, since it was 9:28 p.m. and they leave at 9:30 p.m., the guy had attitude. Lugano gets really hot in the summer, a proper AC is needed.

Basic. One step above a hostel
Staff were very friendly and helpful but that’s the only nice thing to say. Parking was very far from the hotel and not easy to find. A long walk after a long day. The AC in the room did not work well so the room was very warm. The shower head fell down multiply when using it and the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. Several lights in the room did not work and only 1 outlet was working to plug anything into.

We stayed in Lugano for a wekeend and found the Guest House on hotels.com. Although the hotel cliamed to have free parking, we were then informed that free parking is blue zone opposite the accommodation and parking on premises is at extra cost. The guy at the reception was very friendly and allowed for an early check-in, handed out a map of Lugano and helped with any other questions. The room itself included a very tiny bed which was rather uncomfortable, a kitchen with no equipment but a kettle including stains and two paper cups. The room was decently clean but the towels still included the last tenants make-up stains so was unfortunately very unpleasant. Overall it is a good alternative for a quick stay in Lugano. However, for that price it might make sense to add a little budget and actually take an actual hotel room.

Really enjoyed the stat at the Lugano Guesthouse. Super friendly staff and great location only 10 min from city center. Will defiantly go back when visiting Lugano again :)

ittle more than a bad hostel - do not do laundry!
Little more than a hostel - do not use the laundry as our clothes were in the drier for 3 hours and still not dry - husbands had to wear wet jeans. Service rubbish, accommodation cheap but not a cheap price. Icing on the cake this morning the lift is out of action. I would not recommend staying here
