Room 300 had a noise clanking AC. It was next to the door to the steps so it banked shut all night long. Musty smell. The place was under construction so you had the added bonus of heavy equipment beeping as it backed up at night. Worst nights stay ever.

The employees were kind and helpful and they were hard and pleasant workers at all times of the day. My room was damp and smelled damp which impacted comfort. I wish the midday cleaning would a bit more thorough although I don’t know what’s standard as I’m not from around here

Do not stay there with children!!
Was charged an additional cleaning fee because one of my children had diarrhea and it got on the linen. I went to the front desk and explained what happened and asked for the linen and changed the bed myself and also requested 2 large trash bags to place the trash in, only to be reprimanded because I left the linen on the floor in the room. Wasn’t role that I should put it outside and I didn’t place it outside because it had feces on it. Called to ask about the additional charge and the person who answered said the charges were going to stay because we trashed the room. I traveled with 2 toddlers and a 7 year old. Wasn’t aware that the room needed to be spotless upon check out… I even asked for a broom to sweep the rice my child wasted on the floor and was told no we will handle it. I will never stay there again!! Do not recommend!!

Humid stay
Bad stay… as soon as the door from the lobby opened, I got a bad hit of urine smell blended with mopping solution. It smelled horrible!!! . Ok got checked in , person upfront was very nice. Walked into the room, it smelled bad. Like urine as well. Took my shoes off, walked on the carpet and the floor was humid . Laid down on my bed and the sheets were humid…. Like they didn’t finish drying. The only reason I stayed there was because I had been driving all day and needed a place to rest. The only good thing was the breakfast and the shower. Other than that I was not satisfied at all. The carpets need to be removed to take the urine smell and stains away. They were nasty! Also saw a roach in my room.

Room was not vacuum in our 3 day stay. We had to go to lobby for clean towels on day two wash cloths etc. Soap container in shower was empty. Never replaced cups, coffee or tea in room. Room smell of someone's pet. When ask about cameras in parking area, we were told no, nothing ever happens around here. It would be nice to have breakfast at 6 instead if 6:30 for early travels. However, the front staff was friendly, extended courtesy inspite of dealing with the AT&T breakdown and loss of service connections . The breakfast was good and a wide assortment. He a/c works good. The hot water and pressure level was great...one of the best! Nose level was not a problem except for pool visitors but ended at 10 pm.. visit Lucedale area frequently and this is best motel in area. It could be even better with improvements!

it was convenient area and had two gas stations. it has been remodeling and under repair for 6 months and ac was muggy air. bathtub was chipped. everything looked very old and carpeting etc. not worth $150.00 a night, maybe $80.

Elevator not working. Had to carry bags down 2 flights of stairs. Asked for late checkout, which was granted, but then turned off my keys so had to go back to desk to re-activate. Then housekeeper came in the room. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly. Our room faced the highway and there was a good bit of highway noise. AC smelled musty. There isn’t much choice in Lucedale, so this is about the best available.

For almost an entire weeks stay, the musty smell was slightly diminishing although the fans were not quite able to alleviate all of the humidity inside lobby and rooms from the rain a few days prior..
