It was a pleasant stay. They are in the process of renovating, but did their best to make guests comfortable. Once they have completed the renovation, it will be a great place to stay!

Decent stay
Pros: clean, comfortable beds, plenty of USB and electrical outlets. The breakfast was filling and enjoyed the pancake maker Cons: heater smelt of burning so bad when on. The shower only got warm never hotter than that. The bathroom had no vent system and the vanity mirror light was so blinding. We were excited for the pool and hot tun only to find out the hot tub was broken and the pool was not heated and so freezing.

Great property upgrades, very comfortable stay
I think HIE has been doing major room upgrades at this location (there’s lots of construction debris and materials around the site). We loved the new decor - clean lines, spacious and comfortable. It has a chaise! The bed and linens are some of the most comfortable I’ve slept on. I appreciate that they’ve put in a shower stall (no tub, so much safer) and eco-friendly large bottles. And most appreciated - king pillows on a king bed - thank you. Breakfast was also good- lots of choices. Definitely a great place to stay.

The rooms are very large and nicely remodeled. Once all the renovations are complete, to should be a very nice hotel. However, there was construction debris and partially remodeled floors, due to a construction supply issue. The rooms are wonderful - but the A/C and the mini refrigerator was very noisy all night. Hot breakfast. I would consider staying here again.

Checkin was a NIGHTMARE! When we arrived they handed us our keys and they wouldn’t work to our assigned room. I went downstairs and they remagnetized our keys. I go into the room and there is a man sleeping and he woke up frightened thinking we were trying to kidnap him. We apologized and went back downstairs. The clerk laughed at the situation but it was embarrassing and dangerous. That man could have had a gun and I had kids with me. The clerk realized we were assigned the wrong room which is very careless. They gave us our room but they failed again because we were promised 2 queens and a sofa bed and they did not give us a sofa bed. Due to our experience they agreed to provide a pull out bed at no extra charge. I was insulted at the thought that they would even think of trying to charge for a pull out bed. It was the least that they could do. What they should have done is get us a room with the sofa bed but they claimed it was against policies. What should against policies is to give us the keys to the wrong room. Just horrible checkin experience. Breakfast was fine and the breakfast servers were fine.

Positives - Room was clean and breakfast was good Negatives - parking lot cluttered with construction supplies, so there was not enough parking. Water pressure was down to a dribble at times..too often for just one shower. Elevator was out of service for over 24 hours. Hot tub did not work. Pool temperature was freezing.
