Beautiful villa for 12 persons with private pool and sea views in the hills between Loulé and São Brás de Alportel. The villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden, where you also have views of the sea in the distance. The villa has air conditioning and wifi internet. Children can enjoy table tennis and play in the pool and garden. There is also central heating and floor heating, so also in the cooler months this is a perfect place to enjoy and relax!

In addition to a lovely terrace with comfortable chairs and umbrellas where you can sit and enjoy the Portuguese sun, there is also a covered terrace overlooking the pool so you can relax in the shade while you can also monitor the children in the pool . The villa is perfect for a relaxing holiday with friends or family.

Large grounds & villa
Travelled last week of October with family. Villa was easily found, directions were spot on. Picking up keys was fine but electric gate wasn’t working but hadn’t been told so had to call to find out that it was manual (didn’t want to push/pull & break gate) could have been useful info before arriving. Villa was lovely & clean. Looking round had plenty of space & rooms were good sizes, felt lost at first with doors leading off to various areas! Some lights didn’t work, could have done with possibly being labelled to which switches worked which lights. Villa manager had been in touch to say some things were broken due to other guests & not had chance to fix/replace but we didn’t find anything particularly that we couldn’t use due to this. Asked for late check-out on last day due to late flight & was able to stay until noon as nobody was in the villa after us. Villa has lots of steps, including little half steps which could be tripped on if not looking where going/unfirm on feet. Could do with a plan of the house, as travelling with children its ideal to know that they will be close by during the night in case they needed us (mention this on every villa we stay in). Bedroom downstairs on pool level is only accessed via outside, no internal staircase (could be good information to be made available). Plenty of towels provided, lots of cutlery & crockery available, variety of different utensils. The villa could do with some work doing, there are obvious cracks in some rooms and some painting needed. Doors didn’t seem to completely shut (sliding patio doors left a gap, shutting one side fully opened the other side very slightly) so didn’t feel 100% secure but due to location & the villa being out of the way it didn’t cause us much concern. Electric gates working would have provided most security. Pool was big & kids enjoyed using it but it was quite cold & would have been used much more/by whole family if it was heated. Weather at beginning of week was cooler. Enjoyed our stay & it was perfect for us (family of 8 aged 5-59) with plenty of space & seating to be able to spread out & not be on top of one another. Would definitely use the company again as the information/conversations were informative & responded to in a timely manner.

Mixed experience at Villa Tropicana, Concelho
The photo is old, property is in need of a maintenance update. There was nobody to meet us at the property and no welcome book to explain how things work (eg where to put garbage). There were things broken/no working (dish washer, air con unit, bug screen on window, broken paving, etc). Location of property is good, outside garden overall good, but interior not really acceptable for the price. One major thing for improvement should be the low wall (no more than a foot high) by the swimming pool. There is a c.15 foot fall the other side on to rough ground. This was a concern with young children using the pool. Would I go to this part of Portugal again - yes, would I book again with Vrbo - probably, would I stay again in this villa - definitely no.

Looks can be deceiving
First arrived at the property and it was really quite impressive. Very large luxurious looking villa. Initial scout round and every seemed good. Once we unpacked and settled in and got accustomed to the venue everything started falling short. On closer inspection the place needed a major overhaul. One of the toilets were broken in isolation not a big deal, but others we loose, sink taps in bathrooms not working and not hot water in the kitchen sink. Also a number of the air conditioning unit didn’t work as these were absolutely needed as it was very cold. Overall we ended up using less than half the space. The photos are clearly a few years old as the place is slightly tired.

Super schönes Haus mit etwas Renovierungsbedarf
Das Haus ist sehr schön und wir hatten mit unserer gemischten 11köpfigen Reisegruppe viel Spaß. Es wäre einiges zu reparieren. Die Klimaanlage im Masterbedroom oben war defekt, in einer der mittleren Wohnungen war der Türgriff rausgebrochen, die WC Spülung in der unteren Wohnung funktionierte nicht richtig und außen standen die Reste eines defekten Terassentisch, eine Sitzgruppe war durchgebrochen und eine mit alten Stühlen zusammengebastelte, krumme Tischtennisplatte stand neben dem Pool. Denke es liegt daran, daß der Vermieter nicht direkt vor Ort ist. Die Agentur haben wir nicht gesehen, der anfangs etwas trübe Pool, wurde aber auf Nachfrage sofort gereinigt und ist wirklich supergroß. Für die anderen Dinge dauert es wohl einfach länger einen Handwerker zu organisieren Trotz der kleineren Mängel hatten wir eine super Zeit, der Pool und die ruhige Lage ohne direkte Nachbarn sind einfach toll. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Switzerland, June 2022 The house is getting on in years: it really needs renovation on the building to justify the high rental price (comparison from a frequent vacation home renter). On-site assistance was non-existent: no reception/delivery, no acceptance. Foreign intrusion with house key without registration during our presence. Interior with furniture pleasant, kitchen fixtures purposefully well equipped. Kitchen inventory cheaply stocked as well as other utilitarian items (old, low-quality bath towels, etc.). Unfortunately without espresso machine; now with mini capsule coffee machine ;-). Gate and main entrance door as well as some light switches defective. Water taps with hardly any water flow. A big thank you to the gardener for letting us enjoy this, for decades long maintained, garden landscape! Quiet and top location with a beautiful view of the hilly landscape. ‐‐-----------‐--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Schweiz, Juni 2022 Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen: es braucht unbedingt eine Renovation am Gebäude damit der hohe Mietpreis gerechtfertigt ist (Vergleich von einem Viel-Ferienhausmieter). Die Betreuung vor Ort war inexistent: kein/e Empfang/Übergabe, keine Abnahme. Fremdes Eindringen mit Hausschlüssel ohne Anmeldung während unserer Anwesenheit. Innenausbau mit Mobiliar angenehm, Kücheneinbauten zweckmäßig gut ausgestattet. Kücheninventar billig bestückt sowie auch andere Gebrauchsgegenstände (alte, minderwertige Badetücher usw.). Leider ohne Espressomaschine; jetzt mit Mini-Kapsel-Kaffeemaschine ;-). Tor und Haupteingangstüre sowie einige Lichtschalter defekt. Wasserhähne mit kaum Wasserdurchlauf. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an den Gärtner, dass wir diese, seit Jahrzehnten lang gepflegte, Gartenlandschaft genießen durften! Ruhige und Top-Lage mit einer schönen Aussicht auf die Hügellandschaft.

tres bien très bonne situation vue magnifique
la maison est parfaite pour un groupe entre 10 et 12 par contre il y as eu pas mal de coupures d'électricité et la maison est un peu humide, surement en hiver car il n'y as pas de chauffage juste des petites clim. sinon la vue est fabuleuse et loulé est une petite ville très sympa nous avons passés un très bon sejour la maison est bien équipée en cuisine que dire de plus jardin magnifique une question quand même nous nous sommes tous demandés pourquoi faire autant de marches dans la maison? myriam caillet
