The public spaces and my room were neat and in good repair. The bathroom had a little damage and the toilet seat was the wrong size and shape for the bowl and kept sliding off when trying to use the bathroom. My main issue was with other guests. There was a group outside in the parking lot at an entrance having some sort of gathering and smoking for hours that I felt uncomfortable​ having to walk through to enter and exit the building. And the guests in the room adjoining ours were very loud until late at night and then were up again slamming their doors at 3 am. My child was crying when I put her to sleep for the night because the noise was so loud... Probably made worse but the fact that we had an adjoining door that allowed sound through easily. Breakfast was ok. Not much selection and not super tasty, but it did the job.

Mixed review: the room itself was pretty rough with stains on the floor, a dirty bathtub, and drywall dust on the counter presumably from a recent repair. Lots of paint has been used to cover an old, well-used hotel. First impression of the room was not great. However, the beds were clean and very comfortable. The staff was stellar from the front desk to the breakfast crew. In a four day stay, we never encountered anything less than top-notch service. For that reason, we will probably stay here again.
