There was no AC for our room so the stay was unbearably hot. When i asked about this the manager stated they only had AC or heat during the year. There were no house keepers so our room was never cleaned and towels were never replenished. The breakfast was only bagels and doughnuts with milk or orange juice. Would not go back.
We will be trying to get our money back. Left after one night of a 3 night stay for another hotel. The hotel was essentially a homeless shelter.
Horrible smell on entire floor. Bottle opener affixed to the inside of the bathroom door??!!
Ripped, dirty carpet. Stained windows. Bugs in room. Indifferent staff.
This is dirty stinky hotel! Not what I expected at all. With so many choices around skip this dump! It needs a remodeling badly. Stained carpet halls; not working properly shower; everything dirty inside and out. The reason why it doesn't have worst ratings is the club/bar downstairs for older people, they probably rate it instead of the hotel!
The hotel room was ok but the lower floors of the hotel was a homeless shelter! I was not ever threatened but I had an uneasy feeling staying there. It was a good price and a great location but I don't think I would stay there again.
The hotel was clean, the breakfast was so-so but the price was fair for service, one thing is I felt the area might be a little unsafe but the hotel had security guards, I would use the hotel again but not go walking around at night in the area
We forgot to take pictures as we were heading out, but the whole place was very dirty and run down. Breakfast wasn't ready on Saturday morning when they said it would, so we had to go buy breakfast. The lobby smelt like cleaning product the whole time. All the metal in our room (curtains and shower curtain hanger, mirror in bathroom), and there was a gap in our front door so large you could kneel down and look into our room. I know I don't have any proof of this, but I can't be the only one who has said this.
The hotel is very old and not kept up. We were on the 10th floor and could hear every sound outside as if it were right outside the window. There was a bad smell when you first enter the hotel, luckily it was not on our floor. The bed cover was paper thin. I would not stay there again.

It's a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for. It's fine if you understand the concept of budget hotel. It looks a bit run down in the lobby area. But the room was clean, had a working fridge, microwave, nice tv. But the AC was out. Overall I would stay there again for the price.
I have stayed in this hotel several years ago. It wasn’t one of the Ritzy hotels, but it was cheaper than the others and I had booked it from looking at pics online. The neighborhood is in the part of Downtown Louisville where a lot of homeless are and near the hospital. You hear an abundance of sirens (no matter what time of day it is.) Fast forward years later I decided to book for 1 night, because I enjoy Jerry Green & his band and that’s where they perform. When I entered to my surprise the hotel was in worse condition than I would hope for. The carpet is disgusting throughout the hotel and the smell when you enter the lobby was unpleasant (to say the least.) I didn’t take a lot of pics, but they should renovate ASAP!
Place is a bit run down. Staff is friendly and location was fairly convenient to downtown. Free parking was a plus. The property could use a good renovation - of course it would be more expensive afterwords.

It was a decent place to stay. Well outdated could use some TLC. Very interesting that this hotel is ran by a church group that houses homeless people trying to get back on there on feet.
