Lovely quiet hotel. Good parking. Excellent food.

Very good restaurant with rooms to stay
Knowing the hotel and the excellent cuisine from an earlier stay, we booked even though we knew that the facilities are not fully accessible for handicapped persons. We enjoyed the exquisite cuisine and the friendliness of the whole crew, however the rooms would need a renovation in due course to meet at least the standard of todays travallers expectations.

THE room was basic, but oke. Diner was very good! Breakfast ordinary. The surrounding of the hostellerie was nice with a park. We didn't see Louhans, because we had to continue our journey.

Nuit globalement agréable dans un établissement autrefois rénové, mais un peu défraîchi à présent. Excellent dîner, petit déjeuner décevant. Rien à redire sur la propreté. Personnel accueillant et professionnel.

Ein schöngelegenes Hotel inmitten der Natur
Ein schönes älteres Hotel in herrlicher Naturlandschaft mit Teichen und Bach unter dem Gebäude einer ehemaligen Mühle. Leider hat es die ganze Zeit geregnet, dass wir außerhalb des Hauses nur wenig unternehmen konnten bis auf einen kurzen Spaziergang zur Stadtmitte, die interessanterweise eine Geschäftsstraße voller historischer Arkaden hat. Das Restaurant im Hotel war luxuriös, aber für unsere Ansprüche auch recht hochpreisig.

Étape de charme dans un beau parc.
Cadre enchanteur pour une étape proche de la belle ville de Louhans. Parc exceptionnellement beau près de la rivière et du moulin. Chambre confortable et grande (mais sans climatisation ni ascenseur). A noter l’excellent restaurant (d’inspiration italienne, comme le patron), à des prix fort raisonnables. Carte des vins étendue, à des pris sages ou … exorbitants (jusqu’à 13000 euros). A conseiller sans réserve !
