Check in was horrible, the staff was unwelcoming and what ever you do, do not book any excursions with the staff on site complete liars!! I will never book at the RIU Cabo again the food sucks and I paid for the upgrade.

The servers were great! Very personable and helpful. As for the spa experience, I booked a couples massage on the beach for $311!!!! When it was time to pay the credit card machine was not working so I had to walk back to the spa are in the hotel instead of taking my card for me. Then I got double charged and had to go inquire about it and was told they would fix it and get back to me. Couple days later I did not hear anything and had to go back. What a waste of time and money. Ended up with better massages at the Sandbar for way less money. It was so good at the Sandbar that we went twice.

I would never choose the property again. Limited restaurants and the food is the worst I’ve ever had at an all inclusive hotel. They don’t place enough towels in the room. The room service has only cold cuts and maybe two other things. The alcohol is very low budget. I just don’t believe this is the best place to day when you have choices. Not returning to any RUI properties. The hotel looks like a 1985 Helton from the freeway. They need to upgrade the outside building. I didn’t like it.

This was my husband & I's first time at staying at a RIU property and we LOVED it. The staff were so helpful and made such an effort to make our 1 year wedding anniversary so special, from a complimentary room upgrade to a gorgeous fruit tray and bottle of champagne and even spreading rose petals on our dinner table. We were impressed with how clean the property was and how many pre-planned activities and parties they offered. Would definitely stay here again.

One of the BEST resorts we’ve ever stayed at! Food was great, drinks were great, service was great! Staff was super friendly and it was the funnest times are the pool parties, water slides, and pool areas with the swim up bars. Would definitely stay again

Property was ok was very loud had alot of partying going on not exactly what im use to morning tine by pool found used condoms and wrappers everywhere the swim up bar one day i coudnt even see through the water it was so damn cloudy and dirty

Terrible que no dejan pasar los ubers por decisión del hotel y te hacen caminar con maletas mucho, no dan opciones mas que los taxis carisimos del hotel. Me parece irrespetuoso este comportamiento e inseguro. Muy mal. Muy ruidoso, los vecinos de cuarto super escandalosos

The property had everything I expected; the staff was friendly and attentive. Plenty of food, drinks, fun and amenities. The property is close to town and so it was easy to reach town and attend excursions. I highly recommend this resort! The only thing I wish was that it was easier for me to use Uber for transportation from the property. In their efforts to provide security, Riu only allows taxis and certain transportation companies to pass through their gates; since taxi prices are quite a bit more than Ubers, you will spend more. One saving grace is that we were able to take Ubers back to the resort

My first time to Cabo and to an all inclusive resort. Everyone is a critic when it comes to food. I will tell you my absolute favorite was the steak place called Guacamole (on site) service was good. Amazing food. Steaks tend to be overcooked so I’d recommend telling them at least one ‘notch’ above what you normally like. Lobster Mac and cheese was so good I could have ate that every day. Anyway, the staff all around is nice and friendly. If you want a massage, go to the Sand Bar in town. Bigger bang for your money. My friend paid over $150 at the hotel and said the massage in town was way better. Getting to town was easy. Notify the guys in the lobby in blue shirts and they will find you a ride. Bars had lots of options but are a bit lightly poured, but hang and drink at the bar side pool, you meet some fun people and enjoy a beautiful view. We had usually 9 of us so it was about $4 per person. Less people the more costly. Bartering is normal so try it and don’t be intimidated. I would define stay here again!
