Decent hotel, maybe not great area
The hotel exterior was a little run down and there seemed to be quite a few long term residents. In general, I got the impression that the area was not great. I did not have any problems, but I think they must have a bit of crime in the area based on the fact that they had a parking lot attendant and one of those mobile security cameras. I stayed over a Saturday night and there were quite a few alcohol bottles left in the parking lot. The room was decent and reasonably priced. But I don't know that I would stay again just based on how unnerved I felt in the parking lot.

Worse Residence Inn I have ever stayed in. Carpet is disgusting and dirty, needs to be changed. Little bugs all over, needs fumigation.. Sidewalks are uneven, “an accident waiting to happen.” No utensils in kitchen. Trash left all over the premises…very sad.

The main thing I really like about this place is that it feels like you're staying in a condo, and not a hotel room. And it's pet friendly! Decent supply of pots, pans, dishes, glasses, etc. Luckily I live within driving distance from the hotel so it was easy for me to run home and grab what I needed rather than running to the grocery store (salt and pepper, evoo, paper towels, that sort of thing). It feels safe walking around at night, and there's always plenty of convenient parking. It has a decent pool, although they were closing early every night because the light in the pool was out (I guess it was a safety issue?). This time when I stayed here I had a few issues that were not resolved... My shower only put out hot water, you could not get it anywhere near cool. It was 107° one day, and the last thing I wanted was a hot shower! Could not turn it down low enough, but maybe that's a personal problem? On the flip side, the kitchen sink only put out cold water. Luckily it was just me eating there, so I wasn't affecting other guests staying with me, I would have been embarrassed if somebody else knew i was doing dishes without using hot water. I suppose I could have used the dishwasher but I didn't feel like buying dishwasher detergent I thought it would probably only have cold water running to it? I commmented about both issues a couple of , but to the front desk staff, and only once did I hear anything back but nobody showed up?

the room was out dated. The lights kept coming on and off by themselves which was wired. The Bathroom faucet was broken so I only had hot water. I didn't take a shower for 2 days because of this condition. The carpet was torn. I could go on but you get the picture.

They were able to assist us with whatever issues we had relatively quick. Staff were super friendly and considerate. The only downside was cards given to our room kept malfunctioning, not sure the reason. This has been my go-to place for the Bar exam. I love having a kitchenette available. I would still recommend this place.
