When you’re spending over $600 a day for the room and hotel fees, you would expect so much more. The rooms are tiny. There are no amenities in the building. They charge you $30 a day which they say is for food credit or something and there is only one place to really eat and it’s hardly open at all. I will never come back and stay at this place. I was staying for the convention center, but there are plenty of other great hotels in the area. Do not waste your time at this one if you want a room, the size of a closet and again with very little amenities than this is fine. Also, downtown LA is a very rundown bad place the people outside the hotel have no problem being aggressive as many of them are homeless.

I love this place. Services were amazing!! We arrive 5 hrs before my check in, and the give a room early. Plus a complementary 1:00 pm check up! Spanish front desk scooted me to next door elevator to guide find the restaurant!! I definitely recommend and planning to go back for sure.

0 tolerance for early check in when you’re flight arrives early is unacceptable for the price Moxy hotel charges per night. The staff is not friendly whatsoever and seems to have an attitude for no reason. Most staff members would say “Good morning” or “Welcome” as you walk through the door but not here. They just stare and make you feel uncomfortably awkward. If you’re looking for the same treatment you’d receive at your local Popeyes and want to stay at a hotel that makes you feel you’re sleeping overnight at a strip club then this is definitely the place for you 💯

Loved the location of this hotel. The pool area is great. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was so small. The set up was bad. There wasn’t any hand soap. There was only one garbage can in the room

It was wonderful retreating from a conference in a much larger venue to this boutique style hotel. Each night I slept great in this extremely quiet room.

Are you expecting: A wardrobe? Enough hangars for a week's worth of shirts? A fridge? A minibar/water in your room (vs. multiple tiny plastic bottles you can ask for at reception)? A coffee maker/tea facilities? A desk big enough to work at? A safe ... actually did actually find that in a drawer under my bed on my last day, although had no idea it was there? A buffet breakfast in the same building, which consists of more than a flan and a plate of chicken sausages plus bread and yogurt? Enough staff to serve you so that you don't wait 40 minutes for a cold pizza at the bar? Enough staff so that other guests don't ask exasperatedly where they can find coffee while the lady in charge shoos them away because she's on her 'phone? Thing is - the Moxy is a 'boutique' hotel, better described as a bunch of funky bars which won't be open most of the time you're there ... with some rooms attached. My room, lacking everything as it did, was a corner and had a great view. It was also really convenient for the convention centre across the road, but just isn't designed for business guests - it's not a standard hotel and doesn't have enough staff at the bars or breakfast. If I wasn't there on business, I still probably wouldn't use all the bars and would choose a hotel somewhere else probably ... but if I wanted to be specifically here on holiday, it's adequate and has a pool.

Beautiful room but small for two adults. No closet was difficult in the setting of attending a conference with professional clothes to hang by both of us, work space was too small. Service was great and location super convenient for the conference.
