The staff at check in were not friendly and were pushy. They skipped through the consent forms before I could read any terms and agreements and the system did not allow for me to go back before signing. The room was clean for the most part but there were splatters of something all walls and non of the linen smelled as though it had been washed properly. There were exposed wires were the smoke detectors should have been, dings and scuffs in all of the furniture, the shower curtain was ripped in multiple places, and the cover of the toilet tank was cracked in half. The stairs up to the second floor were loose and moved when you stepped on them. It clear this property is under new ownership and renovations are being made but even the renovations that have been made were poor quality.

Management and ownership neglect
It's a Motel 6 so I'm not expecting luxury or new furnishings but it should at least be clean and maintained. This is the worst budget motel I've ever been in. Looks nice from the outside but that's about it. Our room was absolutely disgusting. I don't know if the previous occupant trashed it and they didn't have time to clean it properly since it was booked up for a convention or what. Room had a horrific smell that they tried to cover with a large amount of scented cleaner. After that faded it was a strong odor of litter box that made me gag. I got the room for myself and a friend and we ended up sharing the bed in the separate room because of the smell. Someone had obviously ripped headboard in the stinky room off the wall and it was remounted too high making it useless. The other headboard had same issue. The stinky room had no useable outlets with no lights near the bed so it was essentially useless except for sleeping. There were roaches in the room, mold in the bathroom, graffiti over the smoke alarm slot (it was missing) and on shower head, toilet had trouble flushing, floor was sticky probably from what was used to mask the stench, headboard was too high so it was hard to use it as a chair since we had a single wooden chair to share. Pretty sure the closet area is out of code between the bulb and sprinklers. The maids seemed like they were trying. They beds were clean. The managers just aren't hiring people to maintain and deep clean it...

The rooms were basic. The room I was in was clean, but there was an acrylic nail on the floor, toilet bowl lid was cracked. People above me were loud all night long. Room smelled like weed everytime I went in it.

Room smelled of urine mixed with air freshener. The smoke detector was ripped off of wall, the door handle was broken off on one side, dead roach, no parking and squeeky bed. Need I say more?. Never again!
