Booked my room 3-4weeks prior to arrival… noted at booking I would not be arriving until 1:30AM , however did not arrive until 3:30AM due to shortage of rental cars at LAX .. when I arrived at Motel the guy at reception told me they gave my room away and all that was left was a Smoking room ( which I believe is unlawful in CA ) and it lived up to it’s reputation… it stank of smoke , cigarette burns on the bath tub … I would have and should have looked elsewhere but it was almost 4:00AM and was exhausted… but I won’t stay there again… what’s the point of booking a room if they can give it away on a whim !!!!

It's a great area with a little pool and good access to highways and Pasadena. Arcadia is a nice town with a lot of restaurants. Just you to know, no housekeeping for my 4 nights stay and no refrigerator. There was refrigerators on the rooms at the time....

I booked non-smoking, but had to keep asking for another room until finally the 3rd was fine, not overwhelming with smoke and fragrance. The front desk was willing to work with me until I was happy, so that was great! The room and location itself is very underwhelming, but hey...it's Motel 6. We slept fine.
