My reservation was for a comfort room with a king bed, but I was given a queen bed instead and told it was the only room left. There was no rate adjustment or refund, just a ‘there’s nothing I can do’ response. The rooms are extremely noisy — I could hear my neighbors and their family talking and walking around at 5 a.m. as if they were in the room with me. After a long drive from the Bay Area, this was not what I expected. Parking costs $40, and if you have an SUV, good luck navigating the narrow driveway and parking area. I’m honestly surprised this place has an ‘Excellent’ rating. I would have stayed elsewhere, as ‘Excellent’ usually means something better. 0/10, would not recommend.

Paid $40 a night for parking and was never told we needed to move our car by the time we checked out. We purposely looked for a hotel close to downtown so we could walk around the area and no one told us when we checked in that we would have to move our car by checkout time. Our parking pass just said from 10/15-10/17. It definitely should have been communicated that we needed to be out by 1100 on 10/17. While we were out walking around downtown we got a call saying we needed to move our car ASAP since we checked out. Overall rooms were nice but there were several stains on the bedsheets.

I was there with my mom after our cruise. We got to the hotel in the morning knowing our room would not be ready. They stored our bags and said they would try and get our room ready early. And it was so we could check in before our booked tour. It nice that there was someone at the desk 24 hours,. With homeless tents set up on the street and area it made you feel safer. It was clean and they were friendly and helpful. Price was decent. Would recommend it to everyone.

You can actually hear the TV from next door and unlucky for me my neighbor turned on the TV 2 nights in the morning and after I complained, they turned on at 4am in the morning, not saying the neighbor can't watch TV but the rooms just not seal good enough for noice. And I can hear water running all the times whenever someone taking shower or flashing the bathroom. I stayed for 3 nights and haven't have a good sleep at all. Bad experience, will not book again for sure. Other than this, staffs are nice, room is clean.

The rooms were very modern and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Due to the neighborhood, you have to be buzzed in which added an extra layer of security that was very much appreciated at night.

The room was clean! They had all the amenities I was looking for. SUPER close to a bunch of the tourist attractions. My only complaint, was I chose the first floor just behind the reception and the walls weren't super sound proof so you could hear people coming in and such. But overall would recommend!

This hotel is a block away from Hollywood Blvd and a block and a half from the Chinese theatre. It is located on Highland Ave, which is the street that takes you directly to the Hollywood Bowl. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The hotel looks like it was remodeled recently. The hallways are gorgeous as they have various hollywood stars pictures on them. The restroom was also very nice and clean and the toiletries were also a plus.

Overall stay was good except the part when the lady housekeeper got mad and had an attitude with my daughter for asking for towels. She never once came in to clean, take trash out, refresh towels, or maintain the bed. We did all that and even placed dirty linen outside the door , and trash. But she rolled her eyes and said “aww man” when my daughter went ask for towels after we basically did her job for her the whole week. But, The front desk was a great help and very friendly. No other complaints other than housekeeping

Nice looking hotel inside, just some hiccups.
I gave it an overall 4 stars, only because there is no elevator, but the staff at the hotel helped us bring up the bags and down. There is no parking, I had to pay for a public parking lot across and paid $40 to keep it over night. Everything was clean, very nice room, it's awesome because they have nice lit mirrors to help you put make on and see yourself really good. The sink was a bit high, and shower was slippery. Overall very nice bathroom.
