My boyfriend and I came here for a staycation this weekend. We were excited to be here and everything was great! The staff was very nice and accommodating so that was greatly appreciated. We had the balcony studio that over looked the ocean and it was a pretty view. Thank you !

I paid extra for an ocean view, you see the ocean in the distance over a row of AC units and a dirty building and its surroundings grounds. The room was less than clean lucky we are here less than 24 hours otherwise I would have checked out last night and found a different hotel. This is the first disappointing hotel trip booked through expedia after many many years of great hotel accommodations booked.

Our flight came in early and we came to hotel from LAX. Went to counter at hotel and staff checked us in early. Very nice staff and shuttle service was excellent. A member of our party left a cell phone in shuttle and they found it and held it at the front desk for us. Restaurant was amazing! We sat at a table that had a fire pit in the middle of it and it was a perfect dining experience. Wait staff is very attentive and courteous. Room needs some cosmetic upgrades but was clean and beds are super comfortable. We would Definately stay here again! Thank you Hotel Maya for a great stay.

We love Hotel Maya but wish the on property restaurant Fuego was better. And the property itself: buildings, rooms and infrastructure are getting quite worn. We had to have the maintenance staff replace the AC unit as it was very loud and weezy and would come on constantly even when set to off. This was particularly annoying when on the balcony enjoying the view and the AC comes roaring on. Kind of killed the vibe
