This was our first family vacation and we loved staying here. Breakfast was perfect, rooms were clean and spacious for our large family. My only recommendation which didn’t cause it to affect the rating, would be the pool. It said heated and the kids got in and it was freezing! I checked it a few times to make sure it wasn’t a one off, but it was cold each time.

The check in experience wasn't great. the staff member at the front desk told me my credit card was declined (not possible), so i spent half hour on the phone with my bank only to find out the staffer swiped the card rather than inserting it so it never prompted for a PIN so the card was declined. I believe some additional training is required for the staff

Rooms were clean and comfortable. No elevator so if you are disabled or elderly notify the Hotel in advance for a room on the ground floor. Breakfast was better than expected. With good variation of food. Would have like to seen some hot coco.

Our experience at this establishment had a cozy, home-like atmosphere that initially made us feel comfortable. However, we encountered an issue that left us feeling somewhat uneasy. Upon check-in, we were informed that housekeeping services were available upon request, which we appreciated as it allowed for a more personalized stay. However, on the second day of our visit, we returned to our room to tind it had been cleaned without our request. This unexpected service made us feel somewhat violated, as we had not authorized any housekeeping during our stay. While we enjoyed the overall ambiance and comfort of the place, the lack of communication regarding housekeeping preferences was disappointing. It's important for guests to feel in control of their space, and this experience detracted from what could have been a perfect stay.

Thin walls and ceilings. Gaps between the door and the walls let in a lot of noise. There’s a train next to the hotel that is loud every few minutes. But the rooms themselves are nice.
