Loved it!
Overall the property was a stunning little getaway in the busy streets of Venice, I would 100% stay again. My only notes for improvement would be adding some more ventilation in the bathroom (my hot shower set the fire alarm off!) & putting in an AC/fan, but otherwise things were perfect! Felt super safe staying there by myself as a young woman.

As beautiful and nice as it was the only source of heat was a wall heater that only warmed about five foot of the 1100 sqft area we rented. And it was hard to sleep every window curtain was see thin material and the rooms were bright from lights right outside the window. It was like sleeping with the light on in every room. The owner was amazing though I wish them the best

A modest but well kept place. Exterior entry. Probably a retrofitted apartment or motel into accommodations a bit more cleanly. Small room. But it had all you need. Bed a bit soft. On-site parking a plus. Relatively quiet considering a very urban locale. Easy to get to Santa Monica attractions. Keyless entry. Chain lock a bit stiff to open and close. Considering cost of upscale hotels probably priced right but not more. Staff on-site when I was there was friendly. Phone number on exterior for assistance/emergency. I think I’d stay again.

From the minute we arrived we were treated with an exceptional customer service. Free parking made it very convenient. The room was very spacious and looked second to none. Price was more than fair. Side note: After my departure, the front desk notified me that I had left some of the belongings behind. They were kind enough to notify me before I even noticed.

We hope to return to the Aliza Hotel again!
The Aliza is a cute hotel. We were hoping to stay closer to the beach, but reviews of anything closer to the beach in our price range included noise, parking issues and potentially crime. The room was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The shower was awesome. Being across the street from Whole Foods was convenient. We enjoyed the 3/4 mile walk to the beach. Coffee is available in the office. The outside area isn’t large, but there are several places to sit outside and enjoy the sun. We also arrived early and they let us check in. Much appreciated!
