Grab your favorite people and come escape to this hidden gem on Long Island Maine! Chestnut Hill Inn and Retreat Center was designed with you and your vacation needs in mind.

Inside there's 7 Bedrooms (4 with Ensuite bathrooms) and an extra room with futon. A commercial kitchen with small appliances, 2 fridge/freezers, pots, pans, plates, platters and basically anything you would need to prepare and serve food. A Livingroom with TV, 2 dining areas, a library and other quiet sitting areas throughout. There are books, puzzles and games galore. Even a poker table and chips.

Outside, on two sides of the inn there are wrap around dreamy porches perfect to sit and listen to the sound of waves crashing. . A front porch with sitting to watch those going back and forth from the main beach, and a screened porch with seating and a tv. There is a firepit with eight chairs for roasting marshmallows at night. There is a shed outside with a couple island bikes, chairs for the beach and some sand toys. Feel free to help yourself but make sure to put everything back where it was found.

The inn is in the best location on the island. Just a short walk to 2 of Maines' most beautiful sand beaches. Only about 3/4 mile from the Pier and convenient store and a half mile to the bake house that has a great variety of yummy prepared foods. Both sandy beaches and rocky shoreline will provide hours of family and friends enjoyment. Memories are to be made in a place big enough for all those you love. Whether it be a family reunion, work party, girlfriend wine-down weekend, father/son fishing trip, or just your family summer vacation- we are so excited to share this spot with you!

The back of the Inn is the owners quarters There's signage as a reminder.. Although we don't live on the island we are in and out occasionally and as needed. There are 2 outside cameras.

Dual 40th Bday weekend with 14 guests
We had a an excellent weekend on Long Island thanks to Emmalie and this impressive property. The space was perfect for hosting a large crowd of adults. The space felt very cozy and home-like, and the number of bathrooms was a huge positive. We really enjoyed the big outdoor fire pit, large dining room/screened in porch. The 2 refrigerators, range, and Weber grill made feeding everyone straightforward and real-estate for perishables was a non-issue. Great location close to south beach, which is where we spent most of our days. Just an overall great space. Emmalie was very responsive and it was clear the amount of hard work they'd put into the space and amenities. I would definitely rent again. My only suggestion would be adding a box fan to each guest room. It could of been our luck with the weather but the house and rooms got a bit hot and stuffy overnight. There were ceiling fans and some box fans and we were there during a serious heat wave - fairly unusual out on the island.
