we were checked into the wrong room. Then had to move as we were going to bed. We were never given a new room key after the move. The reception staff kept saying we would receive it but never did.

This hotel is spotless and very minimalist. Ideal for just a place to shower and lay your head down. No frills just good sleep.

READ THIS WARNING BEFORE BOOKING
Don’t be fooled by the pictures of this place although it comes off like a room from a cool sci-fi movie, it’s like living in a horror movie. Biggest warning is to not book this room if you are staying with anyone else, you will hear, smell, and see every bathroom use by other people. It’s a TINY room with a glass door separating the insanely loud toilet (also 2 inch gap between the glass door and glass wall separating the bathroom from the room plus a huge hole in the door for a handle. So when I say you will hear every breath, grunt, or plop in that bathroom you will. Also the shower has no door, and without anything sealing all the steam your smoke alarm will sound when you shower and someone will knock on your door mid shower. Plus with the 2 inch gap under the bathroom door all of the shower water leaks out into your room with about 2 sq ft of storage for your luggage (which you will not be able to open because there’s no room, plus no hooks/ shelves or racks in the bathroom or bedroom for storage). These pictures are very misleading, there is no room for more than 1 suitcase. We also found some disgusting bugs in our bed that left huge blood stains behind when squished. Also they say “big on sleep” and advertise some super zen area but turns out you’re like on top of the tube and can hear and feel like a train is running you over every 90 seconds. This could be doable if you’re staying alone, but highly recommend staying somewhere else. No nightstand, no heat.

The hotel was very clean but the room was very basic. It’s a bed and a bathroom. No wardrobe, no tv, no desk and chair and the toilet sounds like an airplane toilet when it’s flushed. So flushing the toilet if someone else is asleep is a no go. Also I tried to get an iron but you communicate with reception via WhatsApp and I got a response in a different language. I booked the hotel really last minute so didn’t really read much of the description. I personally wouldn’t stay here again

Futurist underground room in heart of London.
I guess all the rooms are different, so can only comment on my room. Good sized room for London. It was stripped back, so no TV, no kettle, no wardrobe, just a couple coat hooks. But it actually added to the vibe, which is kinda future dystopian, basic but in a cool way. Was surprised by the noise of the underground which seemed to be overhead, but it wasn't disturbing and I slept really well - maybe because the room had that cozy, locked away feel. Would definitely go back again.

Was a little worried due to negative comments but it was great! It’s a cute small place and in a great location in London! 2 minute walk from the tube station, close to many stores, overall just amazing! Definitely recommend for those traveling light and don’t plan on staying in the room for long. It’s literally just to shower and sleep. Rooms are small but they are cute and cozy.

Overall great place to stay if you are on a budget although If you wake up easily I wouldn’t recommend it as the underground trains caused me to have terrible sleep. I highly suggest to the hotel that you add better signage and explanation for people how to find the reception and check in because when you ring the phone the receptionist keeps shouting on the phone to look behind the pillar without explaining anything or allowing you to ask a question. They did this to me and to another guest.
