We would probably stay here again -- it's convenient, clean, friendly, and roomy enough for an affordable central London hotel. It was very hot on the upper floors, though, and without windows that open more than a crack ventilation is poor. That made it hard to get comfortable at night.

The room was incredibly hot and humid. There was no air conditioning. It was very loud outside at night (people yelling and talking until early morning). While the bathroom looked cool, it was not very functional. No space to comfortably fit a large suitcase. I’d only recommend staying here overnight on a business trip.

Extremely convenient to Paddington. Good pub and dining options close by (skip the attached pub though). Breakfast was excellent in the hotel. Rooms didn't get much breeze and it was late July, but staff were accommodating in finding us a different room with airflow. Will stay here every London visit

Fantastic stay for those Exploring most of the day
The Pilgrm was great! Customer service was amazing and the staff was so friendly. Allowed us to check-in early after an 11 hour flight and hour tube ride. Literally a block from the Paddington station which can get you anywhere and had a direct line to the Heathrow airport Our only two small complaints (emphasis on small). 1) the room was small for us. If enough for a bed and the bathroom but barely enough space for our luggage and the ability to move. 2) no air conditioning. We were our most or the day but the nights were definitely humid and warm in the room. The hotel provided a fan that worked great to push air, not to counter the humidity. Again these are small. Would recommend this hotel to anyone planning on being out and about most of the time and want easy access to the tube, train, or bus and walking distance to Kensington.

A hotel with a sense of style which stands out from the usual 'see em cheap' options around Paddington. Judging by the fresh paint smell in our room it's still a work in progress. The vibe is a bit similar to 'the artists residence' chain; great beds, fabulous shower and lots of little design touches. Shame no coffee in the room; but instead there's a little pantry down the hallway with 'proper' coffee instead of your usual nescafe. Breakfast bar/lounge with it's outside terrace was a great bonus on a rare sunny London morning.

This is a great small hotel right near the station, decor is really cool with lots of artwork around the reception & bar. For such a central location we found it quiet at night and all the staff we met were really helpful & friendly. Rooms were clean and had good space - especially considering it a London city centre hotel. We would definitely visit again - thank you :-)

bad hotel
this was not a double room.. it was disgusting., hot no air no space ,, it was not a room it was a bed.. i left and requested a refun.. i booked a standard double room they told me i booked a small roon could not open the window due to regulation. there was no air or air con and it was on a hug industrial fan used for several buildings that was a terrible noise, I had to book another hotel as this was impossible.. i need a full refund

Great place to stay in Paddington
The hotel were a bit too obsessed with obtaining my credit card details before checking me in, but after that everything went teally well. The room was a bit small but the bed was comfy and the shower worked well. Their breakfasts were brilliant. There's no shortage of places to eat and drink around the hotel and it's very close to Paddington station for The Tube / Mainline Railways / Elizabeth Line / Heathrow Express.

Great stay! Easy walk from Paddington station, safe, and lots around. Not super quiet an no AC but they provide a fan so it was okay at the end of June. Really good customer service and the restaurant is amazing. Would stay again!
