Pilgrm Hotel Review
This is a very convenient hotel for Paddington station with its Tube, Elizabeth Line, and Heathrow Express options. The rooms are small but comfortable with easy to understand showers! The breakfasts are really good. The receptionists are friendly too at any time of day or night.

You cannot go wrong with a property so close to so many different transportation options that has its own coffee bar, own restaurant with outstanding food, and excellent customer service. When I go back in 2025 to London I will do what I can to secure a room at the pilgrim again.

The room was decent enough, but the hotel was noisy and terribly overpriced. Particularly off putting was their “mandatory” online check in, not only requiring the resending of sensitive data (credit card details, passport numbers), but making you feel like they were doing you a favour by letting you stay at their hotel.

Room was very small by North American standards but was well equipped with all essentials. There is no sit down space except the bed itself. This is not necessarily a negative thing just a reality so that expectations are in line with reality. Shower was spacious with lots of hot water. Friendly staff and our luggage was stored after checkout time. Apparently luggage storage space is limited so first come first served applies.

This hotel is probably best suited for young people who want to stay somewhere trendy and convenient while on a budget. The location is great, right next to paddington station. The lounge and reception areas are also very nice and well decorated. However, the rooms could have been cleaner and the noise is almost unbearable. If you are not someone who can sleep through extremely loud noise, I don’t recommend this hotel. There are people screaming on the street below, the train runs directly under the hotel, and the worst part was that our room was directly beside the staff hallway, where people were slamming the door so loudly beginning at 6am every day. It sounded like someone was trying to break down our room door. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Nice funky contemporary no frills hotel in a great location. Sadly our room was nothing like the pictures on the site. It was truly tiny to the extent that one of us had to stand against the wall to let the other pass. And we were given an internal room with nothing but another building's window to look at. Most importantly the bedding / towels were decent and we slept well.

Really close to transport; was convenient for coming in with your bags straight from the airport off the train. The building is old so our room was hotter than hades (nothing the staff could do to fix that, it just is what it is) and was a bit of a maze to find our floor/room.

The staff were lovely. My room was very noisy facing the back my window was over some sort of generator or industrial fan. And staff from neighbouring restaurants gathere underneath my window to smoke and chat on their breaks. I would Happily stay again, but I would be careful as to where the room was situated. My room was small, but well appointed. Great location for an overnight with access to Paddington.

We loved everything about this property. Quirky decor which we loved. Lovely comfy bed and pillows and adorable bathroom. Just loved everything about it. Lovely sitting out on the upstairs terrace drinking a glass of Prosecco watching the world go by below. But what really made it special was the wonderful staff. They were all amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Friendly too. We were made to feel so welcome. Thankyou Pilgrm. We will be back.

Clean but cramped.
Handy location for Paddington station but probably the smallest room I have ever seen. There was a bed and a very tight en suite. No room even for a chair. Remarkable layout but could only open suitcase on the bed. The room was very hot with no air conditioning. I would hate to stay here in summer as it would be unbearable. A fan is provided but it would be too noisy to use overnight. There is a lift, but despite this there are stairs into the hotel and also once you get out of the lift. Despite these comments it was perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. Importantly it was clean.

We enjoyed our stay at the pilgrm hotel. The reception team were welcoming, providing bottled water on arrival. The room was clean but was small for a medium sized room and had very few ammeneties, a kettle with cups or a coffee machine in the room would improve it drastically. Also the TV didnt work properly so we were unable to connect to the Netflix option advertised. There was no phone in the room to contact the hotel reception team, so we used the whatsapp option advertised but didnt get a response so had to call the hotel directly instead to ask for an iron, but once we had they did deliver the iron promptly.

The hotel common areas are very cute and chic, but the rooms are very very impractical. Rooms are the tiniest I have seen in Europe, but the bathrooms are even worse. There are only two horizontal surfaces, a 3-inch by 10-inch flimsy plastic shelf under the mirror and the toilet seat (which gets wet every time you use the sink. We checked out after two nights.

Not a holiday hotel
We checked into the Pilgrm hotel at the end of a long holiday in England. While the hotel is very hip and nicely decorated, it is not a very comfortable stay. We're upgraded to a medium room, which was still barely big enough for a bed. We had to navigate around our luggage the whole time. To get to our room we had to take the elevator to the top floor, walk through 3 fire doors, and take a quick step outside on the roof to get to the Y wing. On our last day the hotel was broken and we had to drag our luggage down 4 flights of narrow stairs. This hotel has a great location and is probably fine for a business trip. But I would not recommend for a vacation.

Great proximity to Paddington Station and the Heathrow Express. Took about 5 minutes to walk there, which was handy at the end of a long trip. Also handy for easy access to the tube for exploring the city. You can hear the trains/ tube from the bedrooms at night, but we enjoyed the sound lulling us to sleep. Room was small, but as described. Bed was a bit small and felt short… my sister and I had to get really cozy at night, but it wasn’t a problem. They even provided a fan in the room which was great— it was strong and kept us cool in the summer. Thanks!
